Had a 8am phone visit and did not have my prescription sent to my pharmacy until 7:30pm, 30 minutes before closing. When calling back to notify, I was not able to get a hold of ANYONE in the prescription department. This is truly only good for people who have no other option. I will never use Teladoc again and will just go to an urgent clinic from now on. This is supposed to be convenient but it is far from it. This business has a lack of communication skills with the customers and with their own collages. If you have a long wait time for visits and prescription send outs STATE THAT BEFOREHAND.
Waste of time. I called today and had a lady go through enrollment for 15 minutes after I said I'm having allergic reactions. STOP the long screening for family medical history and other questions for a spider bite and just move on! Deal with those details later, especially when I just need a prescription cream on a weekend when my Dr's doctor's office is closed. Two years ago, the service was great during Covid and slowly gone downhill. I am going to Walgreens to ask their pharmacist for help. These services are needed to increase accessibility to doctors. The doctors will ask the same questions anyway and know when the long forms are unnecessary. Teledoc doesn't replace our primary care physicians, the ER, on-call nurse, or just common sense. It's replaceable when the hoops are added and your call agent is not intuitive. Find a way to fix the broken hoops system Insurance created and negotiate those deals for better service. It's not surgery, and if it's unknown, send us to labs. LET THE Doctor make that call. Cut down the data collection for this service and reduce the time between us and a Doctor.
Scam..My appointment began with a doctor telling me he would not be able to treat me due to a new policy. He said Teladoc needed to be better about their wording in policy to patients. He told me to call 800 teladoc and request a refund. When I called, explained the situation, I was told that no refund will ever be issued. She stated they have a policy and it reads once a visit starts there is no refund. Stole $45
The doctors are good but when it comes to billing and communications in general, Teladoc is horrible. When you call customer service, they will transfer your call and you will either wait forever or get disconnected. I asked Teladoc for medical procedure codes so my insurance company can reimburse, Teladoc asked to fill out a bunch of paperwork and then ghost me. Now, I lost the out of pocket moneys
Teladoc by BlueCross Blue Shield--Terrible-not sure if they can even understand symptoms-they are concerned with corporate goals instead of LISTENING and assessing symptoms. Husband trying to stay on the job-he calls only when he is sick. They told him his earache, sinus, and chest congestion were not bad enough. Guess what if OTC does not work? Then just wait for symptoms to increase and make him miss a week of work!!! Thankful for Real doctor, who immediately gave him steriod injection and powerful antibiotics to keep him at work. They do not know how to diagnose or understand-do not ever call them - waste your insurance money!!! They must have lost their good people from 2 yrs ago. Terrible.
Absolutely atrocious customer service. Some of their “doctors” do not care at all about you. Neither will this garbage company. It should be shut down
Oh my god, some people and some service, they should remove the business if they are providing any help, the website will never let you book an appointment and the agents over the phone are seriously brainless and cannot pull any of the account details even if the dependents are verified already
I did not even want to give 1star rating. They took my $75 and the doctor said he couldn’t help and I needed to physically see a doctor after our one minute conversation. Teladoc would not refund my money. TOTAL SCAM
Doctor was unable to refill prescriptions and also not able to order labs. This was a waste of my time and I thought this would supplant needing to find a primary care provider locally.
The worst telemedicine company by far. First time I used them they prescribed an antibiotic I was allergic to. Had I not looked it up I would have gone into anaphylactic shock. Avoid at all costs.
