There is so much to do at the park! Playgrounds for the children, a splash park, gardens and paths to explore, a cafe and much more. The shopping centre, the cinema and Asda are close by... You can easily spend the whole day in the area. Playground: A new playground is being built. The staff are maintaining the other existing playgrounds very well.
Lovely park have to walk through for work etc it’s kept very clean and it’s lovely in all seasons of the year! Quite a few different walks of the town park as well, a big playground for children and it’s right next to town so it’s walkable also has a food and drinks stand, not sure when this is open though and has the visitor centre next to the playground. Nice park to visit
Definitely the best park we have visited with our daughter. Could literally spend the day here and she would be engaged and occupied. Lots of Childrens play areas with exciting equipment, in good condition. Plenty of benches for adults to take the weight off their feet. Clean toilets and stalls selling ice creams, coffee, confectionery etc. we took our own lunch and parking cost us £5 for the day on Dark Lane car park next to wonderland.
What an absolutely stunning facility for everyone to use! One of the best play areas in a long way!! Quite frankly, a world class play area and that says a lot having been to play parks around the world! Great bike tracks and so close to the Telford Shopping Centre for all the food and shopping g you can do on top of the day at the park! Definitely worth many visits!!
Telford town park is located just at the edge of the Telford town centre, South water. They have a play park for children, they have a junior play park and a Splash Park, there is ice cream sellers and coffee, it's a nice place to take the family Playground: Two playgrounds Restrooms: Toilet facilities Dog-friendliness: No restrictions noted Picnic area: Benches available
We have been a couple of times previously and each time it has rained. Yesterday we were super lucky with the weather. My girls absolutely loved it. Shopping Centre just a short walk away. Toilets open until 5. We bought a couple of water bottles from the visitor centre and filled them up to take home. Ladies in the visitor centre very nice and helpful.
Great day out. Good picnic area. Child safety play areas. Food and coffee a available Signposting to car park could do with updating. Sat nav took us to an housing estate But all in all well worth a visit
I grew up in the town, so know it very well. Telford Town Park is acknowledged as one of the best for entertainment, features and great for family and kids, not just in the West Midlands, but nationally. It has Green Flag recognition six years running, which is a mark of quality. It's not a sales line, it's a statement of fact, but if you think Iam biased, visit for yourself. The park has at least two duck ponds, climbing frames, climbing bouncy tight ropes etc It's open from early up to 8/9pm Monday to Saturday. Closed slightly earlier Sunday. It's right next to Telford Town Centre with plenty of different shops to buy from and walk through several acres of scenic park landscape. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Update, I went over the bank holiday end of May with other family members. It has changed quite a bit, but to add improvements. Security cameras have been added, so you will feel quite safe and reassured allowing your child to play on the play frames etc. More miniature construction machinery in the sand pit, the climbing frame like a tree is slightly pricey, but a good experience. These are just a few, don't take my word for it, come down for yourself, you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic park. Great facilities and well used by different groups of people.
Been in parks all over the UK & in terms of facilities this is one of the best I’ve been to. Loads to do. garden area, several play areas categorised by age, visitor centre, high ropes, disc golf course, adventure golf course, splash pad, lake, frequent events taking place on the fields. The only thing I can find fault with this park is there is no car park close enough to where the main action is as far as I’m aware so not great if you have a disabled member in your party.
