Tempe Market Place-Harkins Theatre

First of all, I was impressed with both the usher greeting us Kenny, I believe and the concession staff Isac. Both were professional, friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. What a great introduction to our afternoon. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the restroom. That’s a definite indication of attentive employees and managers who care. The theatre was clean and the sound and screen were exactly what I was hoping for. Later, when I returned to concession, it was a bit busier and there were some minor delays with hot food items being prepared in a timely fashion. However, they did get the food items out to each guest and apologized for the wait. Even with that, I’m rating them a 5. It was a Saturday afternoon & they handled it.

We watch movies here as it’s in close proximity to us. Tempe market place is an happening place to hang out rarely! Theatres facilities are good enough.

Yes...Indeed! This theater was built when I was at ASU which is a while. It's very well kept like most of DT Tempe, and modern with comfy recliners and "seat service." Just order popcorn and goodies on the AMC app, and it's delivered your seat. Great location right off Mill in the heart of DT Tempe. Two floors of theaters with a Coke AND iceeeeee refull at your service like unlimited on the 2nd floor... Oh, there's a full bar on level 2 as well. : Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the high interest loan for a large Diet Coke!

I've liked Harkins theater for years. Nice movie theater and really clean. We met our family there. When we arrived we had to pick our seats. What's that. I'd rather find my own seats. We ended up in the first row. Not too happy with that due to nerve issues in my neck. I would recommend going on line and grabbing your seats days before going to the show.

Our family went together to watch Black Adam, and the Super Mario Bros Movie, and the process worked we ordered online and the theatre [with their reclining seats] was great. We don't go to the movies very often, but if we go again, this is definitely a location we'd like to revisit.

This multi-plex is in a great location, good vibes all around. I love Harkins' hiring practices. They hire kids & adults with challenges, find a good spot for each, and let them thrive. I have no connection there. It's just noticeable and commendable. Inside, they have big theaters & small, the projection & sound systems are excellent, and the chairs are comfy most are recliners. They offer up the usual snack bar fare with a few specials but ya can't go wrong with a popcorn & soda. Harkins does it right. It's always a great experience.

Tickets were honestly less expensive than I expected, considering i hadn't seen a movie in theater since pre-covid. Concessions were a little higher but we got the souvenir cups to save later, and while the refill bag of popcorn was a bit higher than I'd expect even for the theater, the friendly cashier offered a side tray so i could split the bag with my daughter who was sitting separate from me with her friends. Then we get to the theater itself.... The seats were roomier, softer, and way comfier than they were before. They even reclined nicely! And you could lift the divider arm, so my son could snuggle up next to me. Nice amenities to justify paying for the theater rather than just staying home. Sound and screen quality were also top notch and the bathrooms were clean. Did I miss anything?

Friendly and helpstaff Mt only concern is at the boots to get pop and soft drinks, always too slow. The theater's and bathrooms always clean. Thank you Harkins theater's staff for doing an excellent job.

Never been here before but it was pretty cool walking through an outdoor mall to get to the theater. The Cine1 IMAX is pretty sweet- the screen is huge and the seats are large recline seats. This is my go to theater moving forward- it's worth the drive from Phoenix, hands down

The theater itself was clean and comfortable. Prices are too high, but they are like that everywhere nowadays. Concessions were helpful and friendly. Bathrooms need to have no door or more than one entrance as people are running into each other. Overall, would come again.
