Yom Shabbat, 11 May 2019. Shalom, Boker Tov. What can I say about my experiences at Aviv Judea synagogue? I can Not complain at all. I have been in traditional Jewish conservative and reformed synagogues on and off since the late eighties and I like them too, but I felt a bit out of place because I was the only African American man who speaks basic Ivrit and love Israel and the Jewish people. I love the Multi racial congregation at Aviv Judea. It like the way God and Jesus sees people, all races, African Americans, Hispanics Americans, Asian Americans and of course, Caucasian White Americans together worshiping Adonai, Elohim and Jesus Yeshua. I love that the Rabbi brings out the Torah and most importantly they do the old testament and new testament Bible. I like Rabbi C. Sylvester and his wife, Hillary. I love the the dancing in a circle. I am a beginner, but anyone can get up and dance or attempt to dance without feeling uncomfortable. All of the people are wonderful. On a scale of 1~10, Aviv is a 12. Shalom, La heet ra ot.
Love the spirit of joy there. Very friendly people.
