Temple Beth El is a warm and welcoming Conservative synagogue situated in a rustic setting on Roxbury Road in Stamford, Connecticut. Our diverse congregation includes people from all walks of life and a wide spectrum of religious backgrounds — young and old, married and single, with or without children, interfaith, LGBT. Together, we share a great pride in the rich heritage of Judaism, a commitment to enhancing Jewish life for the next generation, and an understanding that all human beings are created in the image of God.
Temple Beth El is a warm and inclusive spiritual community that challenges itself to sanctify each day through prayer, action, study, and mitzvot. We honor our Jewish traditions and infuse them with renewed meaning by practicing them in both traditional and innovative ways. We pray together by combining music, ritual, dialogue, and reflection. We strive to place Tikkun Olam (“repairing the world”) at the center of our daily lives. We welcome all to join our diverse community as we aspire to fill the world with spirituality, learning and social justice for all humankind.
