Temple of Israel is conveniently located off Haywood Road and you are welcome to join us at Shabbat services any Friday night to meet Rabbi Jeremy Master and some of our congregants. An Oneg Shabbat follows services which generally begin at 8 pm; special services, including a monthly family Shabbat, have an earlier start time so check with the Temple office (864.292.1782) or web site (www.templeofisrael.org) for specific schedules.
Our religious school offers a program of instruction beginning in preschool continuing through Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation (10th grade). The Temple also provides numerous activities for adults of all ages including Sisterhood and a basketball program for men (as well as youth).
The highlight of our year is ShalomFest, the annual Jewish food and cultural festival held at the Temple each spring. ShalomFest is an opportunity for our congregation to both enjoy a social event and showcase our facility, our congregants and Reform Judaism to the wider Greenville area community.
