Or Chadash is the LGBTQ group affiliated with Temple Sholom of Chicago. Founded in 1976 as Chicago's LGBT synagogue, Or Chadash operated as a independent congregation until 2016. Or Chadash is now part of the larger Temple Sholom family and is still committed to meeting the needs of Chicago's LGBTQ Jews!
Or Chadash is a Jewish religious organization whose purpose is to provide a warm, affirming, Jewish community where all people can feel welcome.
