The Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team
The Diamond Gems are a group of 20 talented student athletes from all over the East coast. With 3 to 4 practices a week, team gym sessions, games, and appearances, these young women balance their hectic dance team schedules while maintaining the title "student-athlete" and working hard in the classroom. As one of the faces of Temple University, the Diamond Gems strive to bring positivity and enthusiasm for their University to the Philadelphia area and beyond.
The team performs at all football, and men's and women's basketball games. They also compete in the UDA National Competition. The 2015 National Championships are set for January 16-20 in Disney World.
