Great place, good food, drinks. Plenty of pool tables nice bar.... friendly, kinda Cheers, atmosphere
10 Pin Alley is a great place to have fun with friends or family. I think they have around 30 lanes that are modern and up-to-date. Inside the building, they also have pool tables and some arcade games for people to also play. Unfortunately, this is the only bowling alley in town and it is usually always busy. Overall, I would recommend going here but maybe try to reserve a lane.
Incredibly loud, too loud to even think you have to yell if you want to talk to anyone else. Very rude and confusing staff mostly probably to the overwhelmingly loud music. don't keep a good stock of bowling shoes so you don't get to play with the proper equipment. Every time i went into the bar area to get a drink the bouncers would bother me and repeatedly ask me if Im going to be taking it to the bowling area which was annoying as all get out. absolutely disgusting bar also the bar was unclean and looked like someone was to good to lay the place out properly or give any more thought than, " tables, chairs, bar yea that's good!" Absolutely no effort to decorate or make the place look like a place of business. Absolutely the worst bowling alley I have every been too, if you're going to bowl go to El Paso.
I went for the Saturday Rock-n-bowl, they ran out of men shoes so one of our guest had to bowl in his socks. Our lane kept losing pins and became unresponsive multiple times. We had to speak with one of the workers many times regarding the lane, and they did nothing about it. The equipment is very unsanitary. The bathroom was not clean and did not have toilet paper/paper towels restocked. What we had spent was not worth the bowling experience. After trying to talk with the manager about trying to get refunded, he strongly neglected to assist us. I believe this place has poor customer service. Don’t expect much.
Went for a group outing, bowling staff was nice and helpful, the lanes worked good. I tried to get a drink at one of the bars and couldn't find anyone so went to the other side and other bartender was really nice told me specials and delivered to my lane also checked on us. Had a fun time
We recently had our son's 11th birthday party there and my god was it a disaster. The management under staffed their people according to the girl working the counter that was run ragged dealing with broken lanes, food orders, more broken lanes and other "fires". We scheduled for a 7-9 Rock n Bowl Glow Party that should of included a party attendant None was provided We had set up our lanes and 2 minutes into bowling the kids lane broke down and we needed to reset the adults lane to add people. It took them over 30 minutes to do these 2 tasks! Once that was done we were STILL waiting for our food, hungry kids are not happy kids. Kids bowled for another few minutes and the lane BROKE again and we had to wait once again for them to come fix it! I complained to the girl working behind the counter and she informed me of managements short sightedness. How can you under staff on a WEEKEND with FOUR BIRTHDAY PARTIES GOING ON?! Anyways part of the food we ordered FINALLY got to our tables the pizza was late then it took another 30 minutes for the poppers, corn dogs and second pizza to arrive! So we had a group of 7 kids & 8 adults we arrived early to get shoes and set up our games, our food didn't come till almost an HOUR. THIS is just the SERVICE! The restrooms are another disaster, multiple people were complaining about the mens restroom, one toilet was broken and both did not have locks for privacy, the smell of urine was disgusting, My wife informed me the women's restroom was much the same if not worse, how do you expect families to feel comfortable in these disgusting conditions. One of our party did promise to call the health department, it was that disgusting. I addressed these concerns and they did try to compensate us with unlimited bowling on broken lanes and give us a percentage off our birthday party expense total lie we were charged full amount looking at our bank account. The woman "in charge" Linda/Lisa was rude towards my wife after we addressed all our concerns with her. So yeah this place is the only place in Las Cruces to bowl...You can take the 45 minute drive to El Paso and have better luck there. I would strongly recommend NEVER coming here until either it's under new management or they get their heads out of their collective asses and put money into repairs of the restrooms, lanes and have adequate staffing.
Purchased the $75 dollar package for New Years and was told it included party favors and door prizes which we never recieved. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and was told they didn’t have any prizes to give away. We went to get pizza for the kids and they didn’t have any I asked for kids drinks besides soda and also didn’t have any. This place is not suited for kids anymore the lanes we needed bumpers didn’t have any they also didn’t have the ramp for kids to roll balls onto lanes because it was broken and apparently a 30+ alley only has one ramp so then I went to get a pitcher of Coors light and all they had was Budweiser. This place used to be a decent bowling alley it seems to be going downhill in a hurry the staff is somewhat friendly but non of them seem to be on the same page. This place needs some help.
I'm a 200+ average bowler with tournament experience. I've bowled at least a dozen other alleys across the southwest. This one was by far the worst I've seen. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with an overwhelming smell of foot and bathroom odor. It was hotter inside than it was outside in the summer heat. After waiting for at least 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence at the front counter, I paid more than I have ever paid for an hour lane rental. That didn't stop me, I'd driven an hour and a half to bowl. I was issued a vacant lane where the gutters were missing in places. after requesting a new lane, they put a party of thugs right next to me who were served alcohol heavily with their children literally laying down and drooling on my approach. From the first shot, the pin camera didn't score a single frame accurately. The reset just cleared the frame. I don't think the pinsetter put pins in the same place twice... when it wasn't throwing pins in front of the sweeper. The lane was oiled in one direction, gutter to gutter, and what I assume was at least 50 ft in length. The ball return left rings on my $200 Storm SureLock and PitchBlack. The floors were so dirty I had to replace my soles. My $30 hour cost me $50 to resurface 2 high end balls, $20 to resole my shoes, and $40 in travel fuel. I managed to roll 2 games in an hour due to the broken pinsetter. The Staff was the least courteous and knowledgeable I have ever seen. I've contacted the USBC and will never throw another shot at 10 Pin Alley.
No A/C in summer, new lanes but the pin setting equipment is archaic and poorly maintained. Lanes are rarely oiled tonight, only 8 got oil because the oiling mechanic started too late. Good bartenders, but the price of a beer changes hourly. The restaurant serves horrible food, but since the building seems not to have hot water, you probably don’t want to eat there anyway. Honestly, how do you screw up tortilla chips in NM? No towels in restrooms. Approaches so dirty they ruin your shoes, & ball returns frequently chip balls. If another bowling alley opens in this town, I will bowl there even if they whip me with Barbwire between frames.
Just went there on Saturday. The air conditioning was broken, they were understaffed, and there was no manager in sight they had a guy there how was "acting as manager" since there wasn't the real one wasn't there. We ordered a plate of nachos and some ice water since it was so hot. two hours later, and we still hadn't received our nachos or water. We had to tell them to just pour us some pitchers and we would take them back to our table. I don't know what has happened in the time that I've been away from Las Cruces, but it obviously hasn't been good. This is the only bowling alley unless you have a military ID; then you should probably be going to WSMR. It was a shame to see how far this establishment had fallen.
