OMG! Where do I even start?! Bullying is tolerated if not encouraged, FULL of drugs in ALL grades, fights EVERY day, rude nasty spiteful teachers, management who looks the other way, and the list goes on and on. Your child is sick or has surgery they sick a social worker on your child without saying one word to you. The social worker calls your child into their office and threatens them that they have one week to turn in abscences notes and excuses or they will be calling dcf and a social worker to come to your home to see what the problem is, threatens they will lose their permit/ drivers liscense, they’re going to be in trouble, etc. Your then panicked scared child has been done this way and comes home in tears to tell the parents everything. You confront them about doing your CHILD this way instead of coming to you the parent. They retaliate by calling dcf and making false allegations against you and your child. Fast forward to when the investigation is done and they’ve been proven blatant liars, they then act like they’ve done nothing wrong and the parent is in the wrong for standing up for themselves and their child. This school is an F rated school for very good reason. Borderline abusive to the kids and parents both. If you love your child, this is not the place for them!!!!! If you care about your child at all, even the least little bit, do like I am doing and pull them out of this school or better yet don’t send them there in the first place. Don’t put yourself or your child through the punishment of this school. And I do find it ironic it used to be a jail turned into a school. Ever notice the layout of the buildings and the wide open courtyard? The food don’t even get me started- I would’nt even feed that goop to my dog much less my child. This is in EVERY way possible truly a prison for kids. Don’t do it!!!!!!
Despite the rap it gets from surrounding schools, it is a wonderful school! As long as you do your best and get involved in the activities offered here, your sure to have a memorable experience at the Roc!
Its TERRIBLE! Teachers dont know how to discipline their children they depend on administrators way too much. Lake Gibson is a lot better! Tenoroc would get no stars if i could but thats not an option. But 1 star for me.
Awesome school with The best Cross Country team and The Greatest Raiders in the State. This school is full of kids who will work hard to Achieve there goal.
Can't believe this school allows child predators attend. Smh.
