Tequila's Mexican Restaurant

Long but worth the read. I'm not sure where this place has been in my life but wow. Very impressed! Arrived with an unscheduled party of 10 on a Friday evening for our visit. We were seated within 5 min and several bowls of tasty chips and salsa were served within seconds of us sitting down. Our primary server, Maria, was very nice, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu items. Once our order was taken it was a very short period of time before hot dishes were being served. I tasted every dish at our table and wow. Beef Steak was super tender and tasty. The pork enchiladas were tender and tasty. The beef enchiladas were great in like fashion. The salsa's were excellent. We literally tried to buy a bottle as we wrapped up to leave but cup of salsa does not travel well. EVERYONE in our party had rave reviews of their food. Portions were sharable size so that was impressive as well. Look at the food pics and know everyone was a savory delicacy. Only down side was not enough room for dessert. Side note but very noticable..our glasses were NEVER empty for more than a few seconds, very impressive! Highly recommended if your in the area. Kudos to the Chefs and staff. Parking: Corner lot with very few parking spots in the area. You may have to walk from a neighboring business.

Best Mexican restaurant in Rifle! Their menu card has a picture of the dishes which helps to select the right food for you. Creamy Cheese Enchiladas were yummy and Enchiladas Mi Tierra was delicious. Food comes in large portions. Staff was friendly and service was quick.Food: 5/5

Augestine was an absolute delight at the bar. He makes a mean Marg. The Pepe Pino Camarones was “to die for” Staff amazing, patronage amazing & food and drink a step above amazing. Passing through Rifle on I-70? No brainer, Teqiulas you won’t be sorry.Food: 5/5

Stopping for the night in this small town, there weren't many choices for dinner after checking into our hotel. So, we were glad to see Tequilas open right across the street. Since the weather was nice, we sat outside on the patio. Our waitress was friendly and always approached us with a smile and sweet disposition. She made our dining experience pleasant! The salsa was delicious, and most of the food was good, although the chili relleno was not flavored to my liking. The shredded beef taco was good, except it had a hint of a strange flavor mixed in like perfume or something. It's just not what I'm used to or expected. They have 2 types of chili rellenos, soft and crispy. My husband tried the crispy, and he said it was good. Oh, and the plates of food are gigantic, so you will get your money's worth!

The cheese dip was delicious. The lunch prices were really good for the portion given. They give you chips, salsa, and a cabbage salad with nopales. The service was ok. Everything was hot and really good. Would come again

Edit 4 years later: I changed to a higher rating because I have been here two more times in a span of a few years. They were so accommodating for our large groups, and their food seems even better. It is now a staple to go here when visiting my family in Rifle!! For Rifle, I must say the food was pretty good not your traditional Mexican recipes. It had a different vibe but pretty good and the Margarita was on point!

We love coming here to celebrate birthdays! Best margaritas, chips, salsa and cabbage salsa in the valley! Great service, delicious food. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Good food and convenience for those passing through the area. Only drawback was the prices are a bit on the high side for Mexican cuisine. About 25% higher menu prices than what you would expect on most dishes.Food: 5/5
