Very good! Stopped on our way home to Colorado and were impressed. Friendly and prompt service, generous with the chips and yummy salsa, great prices for a fun menu. I had the Piña Loca Fajitas, my daughter had the Fajitas McCook, and my husband and son had burritos.Food: 5/5
Great service and food! We stopped in a couple years ago and then again last week while passing through McCook. Both times the food has been amazing. First time we got carry out and the most recent time we ate inside. Really good! As an out-of-town out-of-state visitor, I didn't expect fantastic Mexican food in the middle of Nebraska. This place was quite good. I would -- and will -- go back. Closest thing I have to a complaint is that the portions were TOO BIG!Food: 5/5

We've eaten at Tequilas many times over the years. The food is always very good, and the service is too. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Updating my review after lunch here today June 2022. The interior is newly redecorated. All the bright colorful Mexican art tables and chairs/booths are gone, updated with comfortable upholstered booths, solid wood tables, with beautifully carved matching chairs. Lovely lighting, and Frida paintings - a more sophisticated new look. Always impeccable service, and the meals have never disappointed us.

There's quite a few Mexican Restaurants here in McCook. While they're all good, Tequilas just marks every box that I can think of. Most of the time I order take out, but all the times I've ordered inside has been better than expected. My first alcoholic drink was with my mother here celebrating our birthdays! Parking: There's not many spots, so if you're coming on the weekend or have a big group that isn't driving together. You'll have a hard time. Any time not during lunch or dinner, there's always a spot open! Kid-friendliness: As kid-friendly as any other restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: They don't have an automatic door opener, but once you get past there, there's no restrictions.
This place was recommended and it lived up to the hype. Great food. Great ambiance and decor. Friendly service. Food tasted great. Overall great experience.
