Terrace Restaurant @ Longwood Gardens

It was a wonderful visit to the Longwood Garden. My birthday and our anniversary celebration was amazingly beautiful. Natalie in the Restaurant gives great customer service. She lit a candle on the top of a cupcake. It made my day. The garden is fantastic as usual!! It never ceases to amaze me. Me and my husband enjoyed our time away from home and came here to relax.

Overall it was a good meal I really love their pots with bread it was really cute and good. Food was great! I love that they put kale in Caesar salad and devil eggs were very tasty. I would go back to try more entree and cocktails. Unfortunately I didn't like my entree chicken salad and oysters too much. But I heard my friends were impressed with steak and scallops so I will definitely give it a shot again!

The atmosphere was so relaxing. I just loved all the beautiful plants. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious! I had the crab cake sandwich, and it tasted so good. I am definitely looking forward to going back there again!Food: 5/5

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Service was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and kind, but did not rush us at all. Our server was extremely personable and made us feel so welcome! Everything we ordered was fantastic but the standouts were the honeycomb on the cheeseboard and the sweet potato fries with vanilla cinnamon aioli. I'll be thinking about those for a while. The salmon entree was also great - the kind of dish that's at its best when you get a bit of everything in each bite. Can't wait to come back the next time I visit Longwood!

Our reservation was on time and the concierge called us right away. Out server was Mindy who was very helpful and attentive. The food was excellent. We had the salmon and the steak salad. Portions and prices are reasonable and the presentation was top notch. Deserts were the hit with very fun presentations- a terrarium chocolate mousse- all edible, even the rocks and a pineapple upside down cake with a face. Out teens enjoyed the non-alcoholic tropical drinks selection. The menu is seasonal and you should make reservations in advance as it is very popular.

Burger was awesome. Prices are a little high but I mean you can consider this place fine dining. Our waitress was super helpful. Me and my fiance shared a plate and she was so kind to even split it evenly into separate plates.Food: 4/5

Four Star garden style restaurant but also with climate control indoor dining. Food and service was excellent. Although the atmosphere calls for casual dining outdoors 1906 still has a touch of elegance and first class food and service. I won't call it expensive as you definitely get what you pay for here and I think it's worth the average of $40 or more per meal, of course depending on what you order. The bread served before the meal is one of the best I have tasted. Along with the ambience of the Longwood Gardens itself where the restaurant is located, this is a must visit for anyone in the Philadelphia area.

First time on a membership appreciation day, it was a nice crowded Monday 4/17 and the weather was perfect for strolling. Enjoyed our lunch at 1906 and the 20% off meal membership discount. Waitress was very attentive to meal preference. Beautiful Botanical Garden!!Food: 5/5

My husband and I were visiting Longwood Gardens and have always had pleasant experiences visiting their restaurant, 1906. Today, we had an exemplary experience. Cheyenne was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. From her knowledge of the wine list and the new seasonal menu, she was able to make great recommendations and provide an enjoyable custom experience. Her thoughtful presence and professional demeanor made our lunch super relaxed and easy. The food was delicious - we got the mushroom soup classic, seasonal pappardelle pasta, and jail island salmon and all were delicious. If you are especially lucky and Cheyenne is helping you - lucky you! If not, you’ll have an amazing experience either way. I highly recommend 1906.

Relaxing lunch experience after walking through the beautiful gardens. First time try deep fried lions head sandwich. Excellent flavors and the bbq chips are delightful. The fettuccine was very good and worked well with mushrooms and baby zucchini. Blueberry clouflutis is a must.Food: 4/5
