I had left my name for a test run for their new car. They called to set up an appointment- very polite. Went to try out one of the Tesla and was greatly impressed ! Amazing. They had the model X on display. Good service but I felt they were understaffed as there were just 2 people trying accommodate everyone. The Tesla person answered my questions but they were swamped. Must go on a week day.
Every time I come to this location, it doesn't disappoint in providing the absolutely most horrible customer service that I've ever had at any dealer. The personnel at the counter are useless. They refuse to answer any questions - the most basic ones. Case in point today, I needed to schedule a tire rotation. The Tesla app provides no help, as it wants to schedule a mobile service appointment for a tire rotation, whereas a tire rotation requires balancing of tires, which requires a car lift, which mobile service, obviously, can't bring. So, I drive to the Alpharetta, GA Tesla Service Center specifically to ask these question: 1. Do you do a 5,000 mile service on a Tesla? 2. Do you rotate tires? 3. How can I make an appointment to rotate tires at this Service Center? - Do you do scheduled services? - No clear answer. - Do you rotate tires? - No clear answer. He tells me to use my app. I tell him the app scheduled a mobile visit. He tells me then tires will be rotated by a mobile tech. I ask him about balancing. He has no clue. Acts like he was hired yesterday yet no mentor nearby. Refuses to let me talk to anyone else. Finally, tells me I can step into the waiting room to speak with a scheduling person but tells me right off the batt that they don't know either. So, I proceed walking outside and going to the garage to speak with actual techs and ask this question. Guess what? They can't answer this question either. - Do you rotate tires here? - Guess we do. - How do I schedule an appointment to have my tires rotated at the Service Center? - Use your app. - But my app scheduled a mobile tech! - We don't know. Seriously, God forbid I actually have an issue with my Model Y. This is terrible! I also own an ID.4 and have to deal with incompetent EV techs at the local VW dealer. But the experience with the Tesla Service Center is on a whole other level of incompetence and lack of any desire to help a customer! How did Tesla get to this level of no-service? I've been looking to replace my ID.4 with another Tesla, but after today's visit to this Service Center, I am having second thoughts. This is by far the worst service experience I've had in my life with any vehicle. In the past, I've had run-ins with this Tesla Service Center on a few occasions as well. Once before I even got a delivery. Twice during a delivery of defective Model Ys. At this point, I'm allergic to this Tesla Service Center. I wish Elon Musk read reviews of how horrible Tesla Service Centers have become.
Anthony was great! He went the extra mile to assign a technician to repair my trunk. He and the technician were courteous and professional. Most importantly, the problem was fixed expeditiously!
Everything started off great, my son and I were welcomed into the store and a youngish black sales guy don't remember his name introduced himself and asked what we needed, told him I was ready to purchase a car this month and wanted to talk to someone about a few questions I had, he asked what model I was interested in and offered to test drive it as soon as other people were finished with it. So I asked my questions about maintenance, the government tax break for electric vehicles or whatever it's called, but then I asked about the built quality issues I've read so much online no specifics he quickly told me that yes they do take care of any panel gaps but tell customers that they can't expect the car not to get damaged after doing so, that no car is perfect and that they've gotten better over the years OK!?. So we start talking about pricing and their existing inventory, since the reason I came over was to check out the model 3 that was recently adjusted in pricing some below $38K and told him that's the deal I was interested in as I wasn't willing to spend more than $40K on THAT car, his response? A very condescending smirk and 'well, you might be in trouble, those prices might not last and you would not be able to afford this car', I clarified that was not the issue, it was simply what I thought it was worth to me but wow ok, judgmental much? I then asked if I could still se one, the test car was back but he just said 'sure, you can go outside and look at it' and then left us on our own. I knew the CEO has a reputation of being a massive p**ck but didn't expect that attitude to be all the way down to the floor salespeople, way to push people to buy from anyone else.
Do not come to this location! Absolutely the worst! Firstly, this location closes 1 hour before the time stated on their website, Google and on their front door. Secondly, they do not answer their phone to tell you what time they close. We came twice and the first time the doors were closed, locked and the lights were off an hour before closing on a Sunday. We gave them a second chance and I was told that it would be a long wait. There was no Hello welcome to Tesla, or I’ll be with you. There were 2 people working here and seemed to lack care about the potential customers that were in their presence. After about 20 minutes of waiting for someone to greet me I was told that I had to sign up to see the vehicle & test drive it online. So no one can walk in and test drive the car? We were then notified that they were going to be closing at 7:00pm when their website, Google & the door says 8:00pm. When we informed the older gray haired salesman that we tried to call before we came but got no response he told us they don’t have phones! Absolutely absurd. This store needs some customer service training ASAP. You just pushed another one to the competition.
My husband was very interested in getting a Tesla and he had many questions. Despite the poor customer service of not being let into the store and standing outside to be dismissed and talked to through a crack at the door even though the store advertises on their door and website they close at 8pm and we arrived at 6:45pm; we are still interested in the Tesla. However, customer service means a lot, so we will never be coming back to the Tesla in Alpharetta. By the way we were told by the older gentleman that they do not answer questions at this store and we have to go online for everything and he would not be able to help.
We purposely booked a double appointment to test both the 3 and the Y to compare. Unfortunately I felt a little rushed. Which honestly rubbed me the wrong way, but I guess that was because they only had one model Y in the shop. My sales agent was really nice and helpful. Since they don't work on commission and don't haggle prices there wasn't any pressure. We actually went home and ordered the next day.
Had a scheduled appointment to test drive the car. The worst service I have ever had which is too bad cause with the right sales person I would have bought the car today!
Good location in Avalon outdoor mall area. Smallish location and thus only a couple of visible vehicles from store front vs full line up to get up and close with.
Very poor customer service. I was there on a Sunday afternoon a week ago. The two salesman were very unfriendly and I felt unwelcome. They didn't care to answer anything, just pointed me to the website. Why do you even sit there if you're not willing to help?
