Checked out the Tesla showroom. Unlike the other EV showrooms in the UTC Mall, this showroom had at least six sales reps walking around answering questions and demonstrating the features of the cars. The sales reps know every detail about the cars and are able to answer all questions. If you are interested in trading in your current vehicle for a Tesla, they will text you a link to get a trade-in estimate from Tesla just by supplying your VIN. They had a Model S, X, 3, and a Y on display. The Model S had new red metallic paint and it looks great. Sadly it's only available on the Model S and X. Tesla has set the bar pretty high on all of their models, and they are definitely the target of the other EV manufacturers. The sales reps of the other EV showrooms in the UTC Mall are quick to point out which feature of a Tesla they beat or offer as standard without an additional fee. However, we have yet to find another EV that beats all Tesla features.
So grateful for Danny Nguyen who helped me get my dream car!!! Before stepping into Tesla that day, I had visited both the Mercedes and Porsche San Diego dealerships, speaking with their sales associates for at least an hour each. Once meeting with Danny at Tesla UTC, it was a matter of 10 minutes and I knew the Model Y was THE ONE! He got me so excited, was such a delight to speak with, and guided me through each step of the process. I don’t think I would feel as confident and supported in my purchase without his ongoing assistance and support during the months leading up to my vehicle arrival. Two days ago, I picked up my vehicle and I am SO HAPPY. I came back to Tesla UTC to ask questions, and Danny made me feel so good and knowledgeable about my Model Y’s different controls and features. Things I definitely wouldn’t have noticed on my own. 100% recommend visiting Tesla UTC if you’re thinking of getting a new car. 5 Star experience
A wonderful experience and gain of knowledge! More effectively priced than I, or my daughter ever thought! So she will be buying one and can get delivery next week… they are caught up with demand! Compare your next purchase and be pleasantly surprised. Be sure to ask and understand the huge incentives!
try a test drive. great 45 min of your time. can buy apparel here too. towards end of month or end of quarter they may not have any cars to sit in as they all get purchased.
I came into this store and spoke to Mike Stone, who also was my rep for the demo drives. I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and created an amazing and comfortable experience for me. Zero at pressure, 100 at knowledge. Thank you.
We picked up our car in. Carlsbad drove it home and noticed that it veered to the right brought it to the service station. Service manager agreed the cars veering to the right they attempted to fix it we’re not able to fix it… we have contacted our salesman we have contacted the dealership we’ve gone to the service station three times the dealership four more times and nobody is responding to us… so after a week of being ignored, we went to the bank and cancel the loan. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Oh yeah, and we still have the car.
I had an incredible experience getting my first Tesla from Tesla UTC. Sabrina assisted me throughout the whole process, from test driving and answering finance questions to providing best practices. She went out of her way to make the test drive experience memorable, ultimately leading us to make a purchase. Larry also helped us with feature questions and placing the order. If you're looking for a fantastic car shopping experience and want to work with knowledgeable professionals who don't use pushy tactics, I highly recommend visiting UTC Tesla.

Great staff!! They made every effort to help decide on my Model S P100D order. It's a big purchase and I needed to make sure I get what suits me the most, like the color and the wheels size. The staff are professional and cool — Danny, Ernest and the others at the store. I'm immensely grateful for their kindness and help. Happy to be part of the Tesla family
