Testo Pepesto Italian Restaurant

My husband took to me to Testi Pepesto for date night and it was the perfect spot for us! The decor was so cute and quaint, the waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. They have a whole gluten free menu of pastas made in house as well as many other dish options. I can’t wait to go back and try something new!! Dietary restrictions: They have a whole gluten free menu. With a disclaimer that the GF food is made in the same kitchen as regular food so there could be some cross contamination

This place is amazing! We came here at a late afternoon for lunch. We chose to have a thin crust pizza! The one both of us wanna try is the blue cheese one, it’s their special pizza. It’s called Barb’s Special Pizza. It’s super delicious! The toppings are so heavy and full of cheese! The crust is thin but held the toppings nicely. I never had a blue cheese before but I have to say, this pizza opened my gate to blue cheese pizza! The service is friendly and atmosphere is classic. Very nice restaurant!

I ordered a Lobster Mac and cheese and a pesto chicken pizza. The mac and cheese is really good but the pizza was too oily and not much chicken. It was my first time here, I can go again but I will prefer to try any other Italian restaurant.Food: 4/5

This used to be one of the "go-to" places for Italian food whenever my wife and I would go out. But unfortunately the prices here seem to be going up faster than most other places, and the food and service quality has been steadily declining. I ate lunch alone yesterday. It was good but Fettucine Alfredo: $18. Add $6 for 5 small shrimp. A glass of iced tea: $5. With minimal tip I got lunch for $33!

We thought the food was really good The service was decent I'm not knocking it I just reserved five stars for somebody that's really going the extra mile in the atmosphere is decent but not like a super nice Italian place but it is nice. I thought the lobster mac and cheese was good but had maybe a little too much lemon on it. The lasagna was as good as anyones

We had pizza, wings and cheese bread delivered. By the time the pizza arrived it was cold and thrown on one side of the box and looked disgusting. We didn’t even try the pizza, it went straight in the garbage. Wings were mediocre but the bread was good. Delivery service was absolutely horrible and took twice as long to arrive and that was after the driver called me 4 times to ask what room we were in. Way overpriced and we were super disappointed.

UPDATE: Service was questionable on my most recent visit. The new girl kept staring at her phone rather than get up to greet and seat us. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which tasted very good but might be better named Shrimp SKIMPY, as it had only 5 medium sized shrimp in the dish. Music was '70s to '90s pop; we would have preferred Ethnic Italian music for proper ambiance. EARLIER REVIEW: Everything was great. Fresh baked bread for appetizer at no extra charge. Even though the calzones are only on the lunch menu, the server let my wife order one for dinner. I ate the Cioppino which was the best seafood I've had in a very long time. The clamps and mussel "meat" fell out of the shell, the sauce was perfection, and the portion was quite generous. Want to know a secret? All pizzas are half price on the 1st Thursday each month. Also, look for their 20% off coupons in the Get1Free mailer. Parking: If street parking is full, drive around back for more, or use the library lot and walk thru Prescott Promenade.

Our first time here and I personally was VERY dissatisfied. My husband liked his spaghetti though. Didn't seem like authentic Italian. My shrimp scampi was so watery with no flavor that I literally just ate the shrimp so hungry a few noodles and veggies and left 3/4 of it there. Nothing special about the garlic bread though we were so excited to try it. I left there so hungry that I went down the street and filled up on Sultan Baklava choc raspberry cake and a mocha which was DELICIOUS!!! Oh and I forgot to mention that our server was very nice and actually took off half the cost of my meal. But still at half price it wasn't worth it.

Took my mum for her birthday today the waitress was amazing and the food was perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone.Food: 5/5

Love this place. :- They were very attentive to our needs, wants and desires. The waiter was greeted us with a very noticeable smile. He rightfully deserved a huge tip. We will return soon.Food: 5/5
