The SCS Facebook page is not intended for crisis intervention and is not monitored 24 hours a day. If you are a current Texas A&M student and believe you are in crisis, call the Student Counseling Service at 979-845-4427 during business hours (Mon.-Fri., 8 AM- 5 PM) or call HelpLine at 979-845-2700 (V/TTY) after 4:00 PM on weekdays and 24 hours a day most weekends. If you are in a life threatening situation call 911 (9-911 from a campus phone) or go your nearest emergency room.
If you are not a current Texas A&M student and believe you are in crisis, you can contact the Brazos Valley Mental Health (MHMR) at 979-822-6467 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a 24-hour suicide prevention hotline, available to anyone in crisis at 1-800-273-8255.
