We haven’t received mail in our neighborhood for the past 2 days. I have very important mail that I can’t access and it is impeding my ability to access healthcare. I receive a daily email with what is to be delivered and yet my mailbox and all of my neighbors mailboxes are empty. It’s impossible to contact anyone. They NEVER answer the phone. The email listed on their Facebook is invalid. I will have to go in person which is another inconvenience. Packages constantly go missing in our neighborhood or are delivered to the wrong address, usually on the wrong street. I have never dealt with such an incompetent mail carrier ever. They should be ashamed!
Can’t get packages from Amazon delivered to my apartment!! There is ZERO attempt to deliver! Time to privatize this outdated and useless institution!! Update 9/28/22: Still cannot get packages delivered by these LAZY, overpaid losers. EVERY TIME I, get a message that the delivery was attempted. No attempt was made! The package didn’t fit into a tiny apartment mail box. Our tax dollars are paying for these failed deliveries. We are paying these people to not do their jobs.
I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I made a passport appointment for my 5 month old son and I entered the post office at 10:32am. There was 1 person in line and the postwoman Brunette with glasses- working the morning shift on June 10th,2022 stated at 10:35am that she was short staffed, I was too late and she canceled my appointment. I drove 1 hour from Houston!! I begged her that I would patiently wait for her to help me between customers. She refused!! She was rude, unaccommodating and had no empathy with ZERO customer service. I made this appointment over a month ago!! She sent me to the Galveston Co. Annex on North Calder. They were fast and very courteous!! Don't waste your time here because the customer service is despicable!!
I went in to file for my passport, & was told that I couldn’t because of my driver’s license is from my residential state. Which is false information, and the customer service clerk was pretty rude. I will be contacting corporate.
Middle aged white lady extremely rude and inconsiderate. Lost mail so sent there and she had attitude and I wasn't even in her line being helped by her. Refuse to use the Texas city post office location until she is removed.
Laziest lying mail carriers ever, and management supports their laziness. They get paid to deliver packages, but refuse to come to an apartment. They are truly even worse than FedEx.
My experience at this location was bad. I went to apply passport for my daughter. There is an old lady at the front who was very rude. I had not even taken 2 mins. She was like hurry up or you won't be able to process your passport. Very rude and unprofessional. I never got to process the passport.
Update 09/30/21: Just upped the stars on my review to 4. I can tell that they're trying to improve at delivering packages correctly. I will also add that they've recovered every one of my packages that they've delivered to the wrong address, so that's a positive. 05/2021: I just moved to Texas City in April of this year and I have never dealt with so many delivery issues... I have had to submit 4 missing package claims so far and I am about to have to submit a 5th missing package claim. They seem to be able to deliver our mail to our mailbox, but when it comes to delivering our packages, for some odd reason NONE of our packages make it to our mailbox.
Opens 1/2 hour earlier than the Kemah Post Office and with shorter lines.
I think if the mail carrier for my address would take the earphones out of his ears he might be able to hear someone yell 'HEY' as he drives off with my BUSINESS mail!!! There IS a mailbox but he chooses to HOLD it if he don't SEE me!
