All the nurses that attended to me during my labor and delivery were more than amazing. They were very patient, friendly and caring. I had the best experience. Dr Tallapurady is simply the best. I would come here again when I want to have another baby.
I came here expecting to get the state mandated testing done for my new born. Like a well defended beach head, they had layers of personnel setup to defend hospital care and services. They first tried to turn my wife, two week old, and myself away at the front desk. After insisting that we had insurance and cash if necessary, and that we didn’t mind a fee to ensure proper care for our newborn; we were shuttled to the next level of defense. Now in this small registration closet, they continued to banter on about a fee to perform services. Every mention of insurance or cash was brushed aside to discuss the fee some more. Every minute of rambling began to feel like a condensed version of the movie “Groundhog Day”. All in all a terrible experience attempting to get infant care. I personally would rather bleed out trying to get to a different hospital than bleed out listening to them blabber on about fees in their registration room with my insurance and debit card in hand.
Went to the ER and was attended by Dr. Daniel Jackson. He was amazing, kind, and quickly figured out what was going on with me. I didn’t get to tell him THANK YOU because I was scared, in pain and slightly disoriented. The staff was very kind and I was treated in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you to Dr. Jackson and the staff of the ER, I appreciate your help so much.
I had a pacemaker extraction and a leadless pacemaker put in by Dr. Dale Yoo. I got the best experience from when I walked in to pre register then to my nurses Annie and Michelle. Everyone there was patient and answered my questions. My IV went in perfect by my nurse without any pain. It was a wonderful experience although it was a cardiac surgery. I highly recommend this hospital.
The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend started experiencing an alarming amount of blood loss while going to the bathroom. We went to the ER where, long story short, they did a blood test and then sent him home with a referral for a colonoscopy. We were assured that the referred GI's office also a part of THR would call Tuesday morning to make the appointment and if they didn't call before 10, we should call them. Well they didn't call, so my husband called no answer, went to message center, left a message, and still have heard NOTHING from them. Meanwhile my husband feels weak and just not right, and we have no idea why he is sick. We have moved on to try and get in to see a GI somewhere else. In my opinion this is unacceptable patient "care". Never mind that just our portion of the ER bill after insurance was $1600. $1600 for a blood test and no follow up care. The ER doctor and nurse in charge were very nice and helpful, so I don't fault them. I fault Texas Health Resources.
If I could rare this place is zero I would. I just had a miscarriage and was sent there by my OB/GYN so he could clean everything out when I got there. Nobody knew I was supposed to be there I wasn’t on any schedule they all treated me and my husband, like we were criminals, pushing us away, talking behind our back’s about us, there was absolutely no communication between any of the nurses and a lot of the nurses made me feel bad that I was even there. I definitely will never be going back there.
Went for a gallbladder removal. Woke up during the surgery and heard my dr say to take 2 bags of blood from me. When I was done I was told I “lost a lot of blood” as if they didn’t steal it from my body. I wasn’t asked if I would donate blood and if I had been asked I would have said no. No aftercare. No information on how to live without the organ. Nothing.
I’ve had two cesarean deliveries here and most of my nurses here each time were amazing ! My issue is with the physician and hospital billing departments. Myself and both of my insurers have called a numerous amount of times to get this rectified and have not received proper action from the physician billing department and I now have a bill in collections. As a woman and member of the military community this extremely disappointing and I do not recommend this facility.
for routine basic mammogram, ultra sound, too many people front, back checking insurance, id on wrist even though it is quick 1 hr outpatient; too much paperwork, in spite of online check in and 5yr regular for spouse and no one checked wrist id afterwards - waste of time, effort, drs, tech/nurse service ok
Every single Handicap space is occupied more than half with people waiting in their car for someone to come out NO handicap plate no handicap sign I finally got out of my car and asked 1 of them to move. PEOPLE handicap parking is for people who have trouble and cannot walk great distances they are NOT for your convenience to see when someone else is coming outside from what they were doing here. Update: After my appointment I was leaving and noticed the Allen police dept. were on this already checking out cars Big Thumbs up to The Allen Police Dept. very quick I appreciate it as do countless others that honestly depend on these thank you. Edit Well kinda always admired the foliage as I pass this hospital at least now I know how they keep it so green anyone see a problem these were taken on July 30 @3:30pm
