Texas Theme Park Engineering is a student organization at The University of Texas at Austin founded upon the principles of introducing aspiring engineers to the less-familiar amusement industry and the job opportunities that lie within this industry. We strive to take passionate students and provide them with a career choice that will be both challenging and gratifying. Texas Theme Park Engineering is focused on innovation of thrill and safety in the amusement industry, and our projects focus on expanding upon current technology. We do not only focus on amusement rides, but also exhibit and attraction design, show design, arcade game design, and just about any technology that is used in the amusement industry.
Our mission is to equip aspiring students with the knowledge to succeed in the highly specialized amusement industry through upholding the ideals of integrity, innovation and safety.
