Always a friendly environment when I go to get my hair done. Flip is my stylist and keeps my edges on my head and my hair growing. Jeffrey washes my hair and does a great job. Always checks in to make sure he's not being too rough and that is very appreciated because I'm a sensitive soul. I come to Flip for two strand twists and am never disappointed in my look. He makes sure I know what my upkeep looks like and tells me when to oil my scalp. Flip is also very nice and respectful of what I want with my hair. He definitely keeps it real too.
Paul saw me right on time without any waiting, massaged my scalp while shampooing and asked numerous times about water temp. He got me in and out in 2 hrs incl. dry time. The shop has you sanitize your hands which is great! Parking was a breeze, Shop was easy to locate. Paul educated me LOC maintenance.

I want to speak on the salon as a whole... very clean, professional and Covid safe. Sanitizer when you enter the salon and temperature checks. Staff continuously wiped down stations, salon chairs, knobs and styling products. All the stylists were very professional and amazing at their craft. My stylist was Johnathan. He took excellent care of me as a first time client. I enjoyed my new color and curls on my sisterlocs for my Birthday. I received many compliments. Also, profanity and vulgar language was not used or allowed in the salon. The vibe was upscale, positive and minority owned!
Paul went to work on my locs!!! I looked like Ceely from The Color Purple when I walked in but I came out looking FABULOUS!!! The atmosphere, staff, professionalism, etc was TOP TIER! It wasn’t crowded at all, they didn’t have me sitting around looking goofy until someone came to service me, I was IMMEDIATELY greeted and shampooed etc they didn’t leave me under the dryer for 10yrs lol, it was AMAZING! This is my loc home! OH! Almost forgot to mention the praise party, idk which church/choir they had playing on the tv but it was LIT! Love it here!Service: Dreadlocks
This place feels like my home! MyRhonda hooked me up with a loc re-twist & updo, as a walk-in client, in less than 2.5hrs. The staff here are amazing! They will make you feel so good after your visit. Would definitely come back as a regular.
I love Paul and his colleagues. Paul started my locs and he’s still maintaining my locs. His shop is clean, professional, and he’s never been late for any of my appointments in 2 years.
Coming through the door I was greeted by a masked gentleman very polite which I found out was Paul himself!!!! Other stylist greeted me as well as the cutest mascot "Bella". But my GOSH Jeffrey hair washing was the best ever. If only I can take the hands home. Johnathan my stylist worked effectively efficiently and has light hands. Overall my service was amazing. Happy I found a place to call home for my loc journey. BTW my appointment was at 1pm. I was getting washed by 1:06pm. Never has this happened in Baltimore at a salon! My stylist was late seeing me for both of my appointments. The first time I went in, he still had a client in his chair and I waited for almost 35 minutes... no apology and I still managed to purchase his scalp oil, loc sock and tipped. The second time I went in, I was about 10 minutes early so I sat in my car a bit. I noticed that he was outside so I went in thinking that he would too.. I was greeted when I came in and I let the person know I had an appointment with Flip. He said he’ll be back in about 5 minutes. 15 minutes went by and the owner sent another stylist to let Flip know I was waiting and it took him another 10 minutes to come in. He did not come back into the salon until 25 minutes after my appointment time... No apology.. After he put me under the dryer, he went back outside. When the dryer was finished, the owner asked if I had my stylists’ number to call him and let him know the dryer stopped confused I responded I guess... I could see that the owner was also a little confused by this because I was waiting when I arrived and was once again waiting around for my stylist. Flip does an AMAZING job with my hair and I feel very comfortable sitting in his chair but the same expectations you have for clients being on time should also apply to the stylist. Having said all of that, I do recommend this salon but with reservations.Service: Hairstyling
