TGI Fridays

About

In Here, It's Always Friday.®

Description

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Easton, PA is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

The food was good. Our steaks were not cooked to our preference, but it was at the end of the night. If you love the AC. This is your TGIF. It was extremely cold. I had pants and a sweater, and the still wasn't enough. The service was great. She apologized for the artic weather, lol. At least our food wasn't cold. The drinks were good. Hopefully, when we return the heat will be on.
The last time we ate here things were much better than our previous experiences. Our waitress was on top of things. The food itself was well prepared and tasted quite good. Ate here again tonight with a buy one entree get one free. I tried the street noodles. The shrimp and vegetables were good. The noodles were brined with soy. Those on top were edible, those on the bottom were not. I will not be ordering this again, even if it was free. 6/2023: They have added a couple of new sides that were pretty good. The broccoli salad was great. The Elote street corn was ok, but I found it had too much crema for my liking. I ate around it and the corn was excellent. Nyla was a great waitress. Love the tattoo.
Server, Josh was fantastic and the food was on point. Very pleasedFood: 5/5
We took my friend to Friday's for her birthday anticipating having a great time. 4 of us and my eight month old. The restaurant wasn't packed. We were seated immediately and started off with drinks and an appetizer. Drinks took..longer than expected. Mine was a good 80% ice, 15% syrup, 5% soda. Whatever. The appetizer took a good decade to come. When it arrived, we received it with no plates. We ordered our food and my friend asked for another appetizer to have while we waited, an easy spinach and artichoke dip and that took literally 45 minutes to come. Our server barely spoke to us besides telling us almost an hour and 1/2 later that our food would be out shortly. Three families who arrived AFTER us received not only their appetizers quickly but their food too and was done eating before we even got ours. It got to the point where were so tired of waiting, we took it to go and got the hell out of there. Come home to the most pathetic steak, mushy broccoli and mac that literally made me gag. No joke, it tasted like school cafeteria mac and cheese. $150.00 down the drain. And it wasn't just my food that sucked. Our entire table was disappointed and annoyed. My boyfriend still tipped the server although I said it wasn't deserved. We should have just waited the 45 minutes to get a table elsewhere. Never. Again.
We were seated promptly, and we had the loveliest server. She was so attentive and kind. I was disappointed in the menu which is a problem of the whole chain, not this particular store. I was there for lunch, wanting something small--like a lunch menu--but there were zero lunch options. Everything was gigantic who wants a giant AF burger for lunch??. I ended up ordering the spicy chicken and shrimp Alfredo and only eating part of it. So if you're looking for good service, and way more food than anyone should eat, this is definitely a good choice.
The only complaint is that we waited for the food to come out a little too long but the waitress was fantastic. I had the wings which are NOT breaded and fried but baked with Franks Red Hot and are delicious. If you haven't already you should give it a try. Features: Normal Operation.
The food and service is much improved here. Very good experience and the staff seem to really enjoy what they do.Food: 4/5
We have visited this location several times and always are satisfied with food and service. We recently visited for lunch and the service was very good. We ordered a Chicken Ceasar Salad and a Whiskey Burger the whiskey sauce is excellent! which were served quickly and turned out perfect. We also ordered a specialty seasonal drink called a Pumpkin Spice Margarita which at first was hard to drink but once we further mixed it was much better. Overall we were seated quickly, served quickly and food and drink were very good all during lunch hour on a “Friday” of course which is why we rated this a five star.
We love the bar area. The bartenders and drink specials are a great deal. The staff in the bar is awesome and attentive. Not a fan of the potato skins but love the mozz sticks, boneless wings and potstickers!!Recommended dishesBoneless Wings, Mozzarella Sticks
my usual Allentown Fridays was without power last night so we called this one in Easton. I ordered 4 orders of seasame jack chickens strips, 3 orders of mozz sticks, 2 house salads and a sizzling flatiron steak which she said comes with fries. I asked doesnt it come with mashed potatoes like the menu states and she hung up on me.. I didnt call back because at that point I didnt feel comfortable with these people cooking or preparing my food.
