Thai Bounty

Honestly shocked by the quality of the food here. Wasn’t expecting anything fantastic from a Thai restaurant in Morro Bay at all. We have the garlic pepper fish and red curry vegetable. Took a minute to prepare because they were making everything fresh. Food was EXCELLENT. Unbelievable. I’m from LA so I have a high bar for Thai Food. Still in shock. Highly recommend both the dishes we had.

We eat at Milanes every time we visit Morro Bay. The food is to die for! My favorite plate is the Ropa Vieja as pictured. My husband enjoys the Pan con Bistec but loves all of the Cuban sandwiches. My children love to order from the Thai menu, specifically the curries. The owner always comes out to check on our food and make small talk. He is an amazingly nice guy!

This restaurant has a weird but interesting combination of dishes. The environment was very nice, staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We tried both cuban and thai dishes and we loved it. Price wise it's in line with the other restaurants in the area. The mojito we ordered was very good too. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Overall highly recommended.

We were able to try their Cuban food only since we only got to check them out once during our short break. My bf ordered three different types of Cuban sandwiches and I ordered the picadillo a la Criolla. We also got the Cuban flan with mango for dessert. All were so delicious!!! The service was a little slow in the middle of the day, but we realized it was best if you order with the cashier instead of waiting for him to come to your table to take your order. We will be back when we plan to visit again.

Don't let the combination of cuisines fool you. A really good Cubano sandwich! And the red curry?!? OMG the best we've ever had! The Cuban pastries we yummy as well; both the meat and fruit ones. Staff was super courteous and friendly. Would definitely go back again when we are back in town.

Milanes Cuban Cuisine and Thai Bounty are a 2 in 1 restaurant which includes Cuban food while also serving Thai food, the menu is mixed together the restaurant cooks both foods in one place, at first it’s a bit confusing and a little bit weird to say the least. The food makes up for the confusion, we were told that the chef was Cuban which makes sense since the Cuban food was amazing. If you waNt something out of the ordinary from Moro Bay since it’s mainly seafood all around come Herrera and enjoy some great food

Good food, almost like eating in Thailand, but a bit pricey. I had the Khao Soi. Presentation was nice, and had good taste, though richer than I am used to in Thailand. They did not serve it with chopsticks, so this was the first time for me to eat it with fork and spoon. Missing was the pickled vegetables, which would be normal in Thailand. Also typical in Thailand is to have a chicken drumstick.Here they had breast meat, which was actually nicer. My wife wanted a milder dish, so she had masamum curry, which did not disappoint.

Do not come here! Very expensive, smaller portions, sharing fees $7, ok at best food. Party of 6, no one ordered Cuban food, only Thai. Didn't even bring waters for those who didn't order other drinks. One of the dishes were wrong, argued with us saying it wasn't. Chi tea on every menu is a typo and is apparently Thai tea that they choose not to correct. They were out of duck, fish, and many other things. Almost all dishes around $20-25 price point, very not worth it. Had to get up and get my own water refill at one point which I was apparently charged for not bottled. Would give a zero if I could. Thai decorations with Cuban music blasting.

Great food! From the moment you walk in, you know that you're where you want to be. The service is amazing, but the food is out of this world good. Close your eyes and just point to anywhere on the menu and you won't be disappointed. This is definitely a Thai food staple on the central coast and a must stop.

For the very delicious meals Red Thai Curry with Tofu, Green Thai Curry with Chicken I would give 5 Stars. But about some things I was annoyed: It can happen, that you have to wait longer then usual order, check, because only 1 person seems to be allowed to do this. During our stay 7 ! people left the restaurant due to long waiting time. Sitting in the cold isn't nice. Outside there were 16°C / 61F, it was windy and the door was open. The server answered my wish to close the door with "I have to wait tables outside". This is not my problem.
