This place is so iffy. The first couple times I've eaten here, the food was great. After that, I've consistently received old, burnt rice I usually order the spicy fried rice. Also, sometimes it seems as if the food has been frozen, thawed, and reheated, as it has a freezer smell to it. It's just not worth paying the money for the gamble in quality. Just my opinion. I've only ever gotten take out, though. Maybe it's better if you go in? Just worried to try.
Food is good. Restaurant is smaller on the inside, could be seen as intimate. More for a date night, not a kids place. Our food took awhile to come out but our appetizer and entrees all tasted good. Waiter kept our drinks filled. We'll eat here again.Food: 4/5
First of all I want to say they were very accommodating when I asked for noodles to be substituted with Tofu so I appreciate it. I have no comments on atmosphere since I did take out, the lady on the phone was very nice. But the foods itself was terrible. The spicy seafood salad was okay, something I would not get again. the house special soup was bland and weird tasting? It just kinda tasted like water with a hint of garlic seasoning. If the food matched the great service, they would have been a hit. Very upset I spent $30 on the two items, portion sizes were also not great for the price although I wouldn’t have wanted to eat anymore Dietary restrictions: They substituted the noodles with tofu for me.
Thai Taste has some amazing food. I have not had a bad dish yet. Everything tastes wonderful. They are always busy day and evening. Would recommend checking them out.Food: 5/5
Curry puffs and Beef Pad Thai, they ask you a spice level. The menu says 3 is medium, I chose 5 and it delivered for sure for the pad Thai. The puffs with sauce is awesome, without a little bland. Worth a visit prices are decent as well. Atmosphere is cozy and the staff is pleasant. The seats and booths need an upgrade, quite uncomfortable.
Just always consistently awesome cuisine, pleasant staff who care for their tables, and an easy atmosphere. Best Thai place in southern Illinois. Period. Also: Three Delight, No.8 spice is LIFE!Food: 5/5
Pleasant restaurant nice and quiet, good place to have a conversationn it was busy most tables were filled, but the wait staff was very attentive. It was my first time there and waitstaff guided me through the menu. I like spicy Thai food, and for my taste a 6 out of 10 was perfect. I’ll come back here. Kid-friendliness: Not crazy noisy, everyone seemed happy to have little kids there.
Having ordered here many times, their spice level has a wide range. In my last order, the cook mixed up two dishes, a spice level 1 and a spice level 5. Oops. It made for a rapid exchange and interesting conversation. Still, their yellow curry is very good. Parking: Parking is free after 6
The food was amazing, and the server was super friendly! The atmosphere was lovely. I had the fresh spring rolls and the pineapple fried rice. I'll definitely stop here again when I come back to Carbondale.Food: 5/5
Love the food!!! The spice levels are often inconsistent but the taste is great! Service varies but they get to know you and remember what you like. Definitely recommend! It’s our favorite in town. Vegetarian options: They are very willing to do vegetarian and vegan accommodations.
