What's so interesting about each decade, is they all have their own unique qualities. Just as we do, decades change, grow, morph, evolve, etc. We have an advantage -and a responsibility as fashion loving beings- to combine all of the past trends and tricks, especially in 2012. Most of us say we wish we were born in the 50/60/70's like out parents so we could experience the revolution of times, Woodstock, the silver factory, or just good ole hendrix. We need to focus on what we have now, and how lucky we are to have the fashionable knowledge we do today plus the clothes of yesterdayz. We can get more creative than ever.
It is an honor to have such history at my fingertips. For anyone who knows how it feels to find something rare from another era, you will understand this store. Packed with things that gave me that warm rush of love and connection to a year i wasn't even thought of as an idea of a person yet. And for as cheap as i can make it!
Now i know I've been talking a hella lot about us young ones, but vintage is for everyone! We know you guys deep down want to reminisce and get into those palazzo pants, platforms, and a competely excentric floral top and disco battle. We understand. You deserve it. Please show us how it was done, because really all we wanna do is be you :)
