Very decent little local library, with some kid activities coloring, train set, puppet theater, games, tactile stations, plenty of books, and comfy reading areas to help pass an hour or two on a rainy, snowy, or blistering hot afternoon.
love this place!! been coming here since i was a kid and i have to say with covid they are doing an amazing job. thank you so much to everyone here i appreciate your help so much. i called when it was very busy to check out a book i had placed on hold and was met with a very warm reception, detailed instructions, and just an overall great experience. definitely five stars :
It's amazing pretty cool but kind of stupid because let me do 30 free songs two and a half minutes only and then want to charge me a dollar a song after that for only 2 and 1/2 minutes I'm not happy I want a free signing and I want my first check for being so intellectual in my growth.

Wonderful! The children's library on the top floor is especially wonderful, we go almost every weekend! Still loving the library, they always have such great events.
The staff is great! The atmosphere is extremely cozy and comfortable. I'm always rested, relaxed ready to read and research different subjects while there. Most of us who visit the Libary on a regular basis never to leave. My second favorite Libary to visit. My first has always been Copley square Libary.
Nice, quiet place for reading books. This library also has copy machine and scanner for customers. Great environment, giving this 5 stars.
Anytime I need a great book, I go to Thayers, Books come in many shapes and sizes but good and decent help with a genuine smile is hard to come by these days. The people here are all here to read and just downright the most nicest people you'll know.
I grew up in Braintree and have been coming to this library since elementary school. Now that im 27, im starting to realize how much I appreciate Thayer Library and all the amazing services it offers. Holds are always delivered quickly. Hoopla is an amazing source of digital material. Now more than ever, we should be supporting our libraries, beacons of learning and truth. Thank you Thayer.
