The Academy for Scholastic & Personal Success is a cultural education program that encourages students of color to greater scholastic achievements. The summer program serves high school students & The Expansion program serves elementary students.
The Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success is to encourage students to fulfill their academic and personal potential by infusing African American culture in the Core Curriculum. Students will develop self-respect, leadership skills and a sense of community. The Academy provides curricular instruction, education enhancement, study skill development, post-secondary education planning, exposure to arts and culture, health and well-being, visits from career professionals guidance and positive role modeling, experiential learning and travel.
