Over thirty years ago, Universal Equestrian Center (UEC) was established as a private facility for the Don L. Christensen Family. The UEC was later expanded to welcome our friends, house their horses and support their equestrian activities. To meet their growing needs for feed and tack, the creation of The American Cowboy Store was soon to follow.
In the truest tradition of western hospitality, Jed Christensen, managing partner of The American Cowboy, insists on maintaining the store as a family friendly destination where quality, loyalty and personal service are paramount. While the store is still in its original location, Jed is discovering friends throughout the world. Many visitors to Utah discover this hidden treasure and in their fascination with our western way of life purchase items many westerners use daily, including saddles, dusters, boots, hats, and much more.
