The American Legion Post 168

The way this place is organized on activity night. Such as cornhole is mind blowing they were doing a raffle. I bought one for $20.They didn’t sell them all and still kept my $20 lol i mean i could have understood if they would have said that before i paid the $20 but NOTHING was said and they boy/woman that were doing the raffle just pocketed my $20 I’m actually blown away by this I’ve never been to an establishment of veterans club bar anywhere that didn’t give the money back or that didn’t explain the rules before the raffle begun. I like the place, but I got to give it a one star for pulling that scam last night. I’m still upset about it now I’m sitting here wondering where did the money go? Did that boy and woman pocket my money I wasn’t even explained to where the money went or where the money goes. They basically just told me to get out of their face and then of course I got a little loud and then it became a problem. Lol place was dope until last night ‍

Our dance band performs twice a year at the Thurmont American Legion for the New Thurmont Dance Club. It's a wonderful venue with a beautiful dance floor and a stage large enough for a full 18-piece band like ours. You should consider it for your next special event.

Awesome hall! A lot of memories on the wall of men and women that signed that line and swore the oath. Been in Legion’s all over the country, and never had a bad experience, but didn’t feel welcomed by one of the persons that are supposed to be there for that reason. I don’t know about this post, but I’m sure that the posts that are honoring the veterans around the country do not act this way. I give these 5 stars for all the history that this building holds. And the food was good, loved the coleslaw!

I was there at 10AM and doors were locked. Made a quick phone call and was greeted almost immediately. Facility is a little dated but that doesn't hinder or hurt their business.

Felt very welcome and the dedication of the bridges was an experience that was a blessing. Thank you for the hospitality honoring the fallen men.
