The Ames Gallery is the Bay Area’s only gallery exhibiting both the work of contemporary self-taught artists and antique Americana. The Gallery features quilts, carved canes, tramp art, whimseys, vernacular photography and painted tintypes, kitchenalia and a broad range of American folk art. It also shows its large collection of the work of contemporary visionary, memory, and Outsider artists including the work of A.G. Rizzoli, Alex A. Maldonado, Ted Gordon and Deborah Barrett.
