"The Ansel Adams Gallery is open seven days per week, from 9AM to 5PM, Pacific Time, with extended hours in the summer.We are located in the heart of Yosemite Valley, between the Visitor Center and Post Office, with incredible views of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Glacier Point. The Ansel Adams Gallery celebrates the life and work of famous photographer Ansel Adams. The gallery has many of his original prints, reprints, books and general souvenirs that reference him. You'll also find works of other photographers that showcase Yosemite. There are paid photography classes offered here as well as free walking tours each Tuesday and Thursday. While most of the items in stock are expensive, the value of learning you receive by exploring this gallery is priceless.

Lovely gallery with original Ansel Adams prints and reproductions. What a treat to be able to see these large prints in person! They also sell film! 35mm and medium format, a variety of options. This is a lovely store with amazing art prints and original Ansel Adam’s photographs. That being said the employees there were far from respectable or courteous. In fact my family and I were followed around the store and watched the whole time we were there. It is clear that your organization needs improved and comprehensive diversity and inclusion training. In addition, you should know that at the end of the day all money is green no matter what race of the person who paid it. I was deeply disappointed in the behavior of the employees there. Will I return? I don’t know. The prints may be worth it but the people are not.

For those familiar with the beautiful black and white images of Yosemite National Park by early 20th century Ansel Adams, one of interesting places to visit in the valley is his studio. Opening hours 9am to 5pm daily.  Today, the Ansel Adams studio is an art gallery where visitors can find photo reprints of Ansel Adams as well as numerous other art related gifts. It is a nice shop to see even if you don't intend to buy anything.  Note - within the gallery you'll find a wall with history and images of Ansel Adams as well as information related to the establishment and running of his studio here in Yosemite Valley during the early days.

In addition to high-priced art, they offer a variety of very nice cards, gifts, and jewelry for $1.50 to $25.

As a fan of Ansel Adam’s it’s a very nice gallery. They even have signed original photos. Staff is friendly and  knowledgeable. It’s a short walk from the visitor center if your in the area

Awesome gallery. Reallly enjoyed the vibes. Bought a couple of things but really most of the books in their can be bought on Amazon.  I don’t know if it goes directly to the park or something else.

This is one of the best gift shops I've seen, although it really is more of a gallery. The items for purchase are art, from jewelry to photos to ceramics and glass items, and everything in between. Anything thing would make a lovely souvenir or gift. Be aware that because these are almost all handmade items, prices reflect that. This isn't somewhere to get a $30 t-shirt; this is where you go for an art nouveau ceramic plaque of birds ofor several hundred dollars

A Must See gallery for those who love Ansel Adams’ work plus contemporary photographers.
