The Appliance Doctor

Fixes right the first time. Fast! I have used the services of Mr. Roshgadol, Appliance Doctor several times. I am always amazed at how quick he is. I just used him this morning. Shortly after he started working on my broken dryer, I started writing the check, just leaving the amount blank. He was already putting the dryer back together. How long he takes depends on what's wrong, of course. But within 10 or 15 minutes, he had diagnosed, replaced the belt, checked for any other problems, and cleaned up. He appreciated my having pre-filled my check because waiting for people to find their checkbook and write a check cuts his productivity. I would use Mr. Roshgadol's services again. I am completely satisfied with the high quality of his work, and I am amazed at how quickly he fixes problems.

Awful! BAIT-and-SWITCH. He advertises 24hr service. That is a lie to lure you into calling him. He would not come out at 7pm on a Monday. That should have scared me off. He told me the appointment fee is $115 to come out. I said fine. That is an industry standard for a time and materials billing company. However, SURPRISE! He says something to my daughter who was handling appt about prices that she doesn't understand. Then when I get home there is a "flat rate" repair bill for $295. He tricked us with the normal appointment model time and materials, then billed me at an insane flat-rate. If he only does flat-rates, then he MUST tell people that before making the appointment. How deceptive. I would never have agreed to hire him for $295 for ten minutes in my house half of which was using the toilet! to replace a single compressor capacitor, FIVE minutes of work, $35 part. He has the 24hr promise to lure people into calling him, then tries to spring a flat rate on you after he shows up, are you kidding? This is a form of bait and switch. To make matters worse, I've had several messages back and forth to him and he is indignantly ignoring my claim about his bait and switch. I wish I had read all his reviews on Angs' List, as I now see he is ethically challenged.

Chambers vintage stove issue with pilot light. Detected issue right away. Clogged hole. Excellent service. Highly recommend for vintage issues.
