for those wanting , having or who have had the islet cell transplant to gain knowledge and to share this. I wanted a place where people who have had the surgery have a place to go to rejoice, talk about how great they feel. There are many Facebook pages and we should be available to those yet with active chronic pancreatits, yet we still need to have a place to go to talk positive to get out our feelings on this awesome chance we were given at life again. Getting back to the people we were once before the CP and helping each other with complications that we may be having from getting the surgery. These are things no one can understand unless they have been there done that. And sometimes no MANY times talking about them else where on Facebook pages upset someone who may be in pain that day. It's very hard for some people to understand we are living again.
to treat each other with respect and as humans making each persons day a brighter one.
