We visited Forgotten Seasons Memorial Day weekend for a short getaway. It is a beautiful place; the bedrooms are gorgeous, and clean. Kathy and Jay were fabulous hosts. The breakfast was to die for! And very accommodating my boyfriend has diabetes and Kathy made many of the items sugar free!.  Kathy and Jay were very knowledgeable about the area, and made us feel right at home. We will be back :

This is a fantastic B&B! We went on an extended vacation this summer, and this was definitely our favorite lodging. The place is charming and is in a beautiful setting, but even more than that, Judy was so accommodating. She was so thoughtful in every detail! The breakfasts were amazing. We highly recommend this guesthouse!Rooms: 5/5

We loved staying at The Avenue!  Judy was so welcoming and even made me a delicious gluten-free breakfast.  My husband and I enjoyed a bike ride to Lititz on the trail that goes from the B&B right into town.  The historic house with all of the modern amenities you could hope for was what first caught our eye when looking for a place to stay, but the bike ride and breakfast were special treats!

We discovered this gem of a B & B on the web & stayed there last weekend. What a lovely, unassuming yet extremely hospitable couple Jay & Kathy are! We were delighted to peruse the history of their home & get to know them during our stay. The B & B is warm & homey, as well as immaculately kept. Kathy is an amazing cook - everything is made from scratch & delicious! Everything was presented like a picture from Southern Living :- Jay has done an amazing job restoring this building  & its grounds back to its glory, updating while keeping the feel of centuries gone by. Do take the time to take a closer look for yourselves--you'll be glad you did!

Such a magical place!  The minute you walk in you feel welcome and at peace.  You feel "at home".  Once settled you can't help but notice   The aura of warmth and love in this home.  Judy, the resident manager, is beyond amazing.  Seriously, she goes above and beyond to make your stay extra special.   For us, that meant great conversation backed with an endless smile and energy.  This accompanied by great food and the best wine ever!   The home is conveniently located just outside of town.  The town is lovely.  Great food at "home" made lovingly by Judy or many choices downtown.  We stayed here while visiting Longwood Gardens.  Yes, Longwood was 1 hour away BUT the drive there was beautiful and full of places to stop along the way.  I would HIGHLY recommend The Avenue Guesthouse and Gallery.

My boyfriend and I went to the Forgotten Seasons to get away and it definitely was a trip I'll never forget. We ended up trapped in a blizzard near town and Kathy coordinated a ride for us so we made it back safely. The place itself was stunning and had the feeling of home. She was accommodating to dietary needs my boyfriend has celiac so she made the entire breakfast gluten free and her baked goods were to die for. I would 100% recommend this establishment. It is now our favorite little hide away.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. It was perfect! . Very clean. The owners are truly some of the best B&B owners I have ever met. The breakfasts were out of the world! I can't say enough good things about this place. The home is a wonderful old stone and very romantic. The rooms are large. Its also very close to Lititiz.. we will return I am sure about that. Great value.

This BnB wins every category. Our stay was full of thoughtfulness & comfort; the house is lovely, the breakfast amazing, & the inn keeper friendly & awesome to be around. If you forgot to bring something there’s a full stock of anything you might need, & the rooms are stocked as well. The area is central to many restful or exciting things to do like trails & parks, but Hershey is also nearby. I’d give 10 stars if I could :

My wife and I stayed at the Forgotten Seasons B & B in July of 2013. It was a wonderful stay. The accomodations were great, the history of the home as a historic tavern, and the town itself were all fantastic. The owners were great and the breakfasts were great. We even got to walk their dog, Lucky. It's not uncommon to see an Amish buggy roll by.Highly reccomended.

My significant other and I stayed at this establishment. It was so quaint and the innkeepers were just lovely. We stayed at three establishments in four days and found this to be the closest in keeping with its historical value built in 1735. Even for one night it is hard to not have the modern convenience of the internet or television, but loved that Kathy and Jay are staying true as best as they can to the time period. Breakfast was awesome! Fresh and local foods were used and Kathy sure can cook, and she sews too.I bought an Amish quilt from her at half the price it would have cost me at a retail store. I would stay here again. No hesitations.
