The Back Burner Restaurant

This was always on our list of places to stop, and I'm glad we finally did! The cheese sticks are great and homemade! The drinks were wonderful. The pulled pork sandwich was so good! The pulled pork is more like burnt ends and they are delicious! The bbq sauce is homemade too. The bbq platter is a true platter! You get pulled pork, bbq brisket, and ribs with beans, cornbread, and fries, for only $25! I highly recommend checking it out. They have great outdoor seating and the staff is so nice! Vegetarian options: They have a veggie lo mein option! Parking: Plenty of parking! Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.

Staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious. Ribs, Mac and cheese and baked beans were very good. Husband had pulled pork sandwich which he enjoyed. Steak tips with chopped salad were awesome too. Everything came out quickly and warm. Would definitely go back here again.

I never post reviews but it was so bad that I feel obliged. It was a quiet night and yet it took 45 minutes to be served. The shrimp scampi was a flavorless pile of pasta - not a hint of garlic or wine could be tasted as the menu described, minimal veggies. Shrimp was good. NOT worth the $21 charged. Wait staff was nice.

So happy we stumbled upon this place after an afternoon hiking in the area. Such a great atmosphere with a super friendly staff and a wonderful outdoor dining area. We had the homemade provolone sticks, Caesar salad, meatloaf, and stuffed haddock and everything was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, I managed to forget my debit card in the check holder and the owner was kind enough to mail it back to me within hours of contacting her about it. This will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we're back in the area

Went there for dinner today. We had the fried artichokes as an appetizer. We both had the bacon wrapped meatloaf. It was very very good. The roasted brussel sprouts could have cooked long. They were crunchy. The wait was only about 5 minutes while they cleared a table. It's been 4 years since we were here.

It is a lovely, rustic wood interior setting that is warm and cozy. I love the chicken pot pie and the French soup. My husband enjoyed the stuffed Haddock. Everything was delicious!Recommended dishesBaked Haddock

We are camping nearby and decided “our grill was closed” at the campsite and came to the Back Burner Resturant. Three of us enjoyed the bacon wrapped stuffing, steak tips, stuffed haddock and the meatloaf. Glad we’re nearby for a week because the food, owners and service are all amazing. Come here and enjoy it!! Maybe we’ll see you there if you come within the next week!

Had the fish fry last night. Good size portion cut correct, the batter was light. Cooked perfectly.

Service was fast and super friendly. Stuffing balls were KILLER! This place is cozy and has some out of this world food! Would highly recommend and can not wait to go back!
