The Backroom at Memphis Santora

Walked into this place on a nice Saturday after 3pm was not busy but we were completely ignored and not greeted. We seated ourselves and after 20min of sitting no one approached or talked to us. The staff was too deeply involved in their personal conversation to help their customers. The table was also sticky and dirty. I will NOT be recommending this place!

Horrible customer service. Food was good, but after experiencing the young waitress's poor and judgmental attitude... I'll probably will not go return. On top of everything, the place was 5% occupied, yet her neglecting carried on throughout our meal. I acknowledged this to manager and didn't tip.

Holy cow the food is good. Yes, we're looking at $18 a plate, but what great taste! The menu is small, but deliberately so as it is limited by their locally sourced and seasonally prepared menu. Will DEFINITELY be back!

The young bartender Kendrick is really great. We used to stop in to say hi to him and have drinks. The other young bartender is a real a$$. We stopped going there because of an altercation he caused.

Nice creative southern food right in the center of Orange County. We will be back.
