Stopped by because I was in the area and saw they won a Westchester County award. I ordered my standard: toasted garlic with scallion cc, so I could compare it to some of my favorite bagel places. This bagel stands up well. Large, crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The scallion cream cheese has plenty of large pieces of scallion. Enjoyed it very much. I also grabbed a jalapeno everything bagel, because well, jalapeno! The green color is strange, but it tastes really good. There are not chunks of jalapeno in it, rather the flavor is baked throughout, thus the overall green color see photos. I would definitely get this bagel again with a spread next time!
Our experience with the bagel Emporium was very disappointing and left a bad taste in our mouths seriously. After placing our order to be delivered by grub hub we received our food and there was a few issues with the food . When we called and talked with the manager Francesca and tried to explain our situation all she wanted to do was pass the blame and wouldn’t even listen to the problem at hand and definitely was not willing to make things right. we were trying to help them be aware of the situation so this did not happen to other customers however she really just didn’t care. We spent 55 dollar on some bagel sandwiches and a couple drinks and the food plain out sucked . Good luck if you go there and I hope your experience with the Bagel Emporium and Francesca was better than ours. I hope the owners see this review and take note to how this place is being run by their manager who doesn’t care about the customer
What a disappointment for my first New York bagel experience. I went this morning right when they opened and I ordered an everything bagel sandwich, an onion bagel with scallion tofutti, and an everything bagel not toasted. The bagel sandwich was burned to a crisp and the top was completely inedible, like honestly how do you in good conscious think that’s okay to serve to someone. I love that they had tofutti options, but the scallion tofutti was plain tofutti with a few 1 inch pieces of wilted scallion. The non toasted everything bagel is the only reason this isn’t a one star review. If I was just reviewing the bagel itself then easy 5 stars, unfortunately the toppings and execution were 1 star.
Long lines but good bagels. If you can’t get to the city and are in the area worth dropping by and waiting the long line.
Great store. Bagels are delicious and they have food way beyond bagels. Salads, cakes, cookies, muffins, deli sandwiches, eggs etc. Place always has a line, but there are many people that work there so it moves quick. Highly recommended.
My last review my phone froze so I have to rewrite and keep this short and to point. Ordered via grub hub. Selected add ons for breakfast items ; western omelette and bagel sandwich. Paid extra for add ons. Did not get add ons. Grub hub didn’t make the food , bagel emporium did. I did contact grub hub they’re great. We called restaurant spoke to manager named Francesca. She told us it’s not her problem that the info I was relaying was wrong continued to argue and say their receipt does not show add ons a customer selects AND PAYS FOR on grub hub She admitted she saw my note for extra cheese on my omelette I paid for but yet there was NO cheese the omelette was plain dry horrible crusty eggs. McDonalds has better hasbrowns that speaks highly , bagel emporiums we’re soggy and disgusting I suggested communicating to fix this with grub hub she continued to tell me it wasn’t her problem. All in all the food was horrendous and Francesca was extremely unprofessional.
Very good bagels. I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness, flavor and balance between crust and chewy dough. Both my breakfast sandwich and bagel with schematic was top notch
In town for a conference, asked about a good breakfast option, hotel referred me here and although I was hesitant due to the mixed reviews, I ordered in person, obviously from NYC so you gotta order the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel with Salt Pepper Ketchup— everything was wonderful, bacon is crisp, bagel is soft and warm on the inside with right crunch on the outside, this spot is spot on if I have to be redundant, but yeah will return for the next day to sample other stuff.
July 2023, haven’t been here in a long while because I spend part of my time now in South Fla, I ordered the Egg on a roll with crispy bacon and I love the way they crumble the bacon bits on the roll, not just lay the bacon strips across the roll. One thing Fla does not have is Kiser Rolls, which I find very strange. I couldn’t wait to come back here for the breakfast sandwich. This is always my first stop when I get back to NY from Fla. Besides the great tasting breakfast sandwich you can’t beat the Bagels and wide choice of cream cheeses. Thanks Bagel Emporium for continuing to made the best tasting Egg Sandwich I have ever had. Also, the staff who work there are great.
Huge menu. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and I've never had such a soft roll. It was delicious.
