The Bar

I absolutely love the gluten free pizza! The clam pizza is by far one of the best.. Not to mention the stuffed breads, definitely stuffed! The Bar is definitely my go to for take out.Food: 5/5

Nice staff and a clean, cool atmosphere. The food on the other hand, not so good. Everything was extremely greasy, the garlic knots seem to be literally dipped in oil don’t wear anything nice as you are sure to walk out with grease stains all over your clothes, no matter how careful you are our penne a la vodka was more like penne a la soup with penne floating around in tons of olive oil. The pizza was better but not great. Unfortunately, I can name 10 other pizza restaurants in North Haven I would rather go too. Save yourself a trip….and a shirt!

One of our favorite pizza places. Authentic New Haven thin crust, very tasty and flavorful. Pies are large. They do the classics well, but if you're looking for something novel, try the chicken bacon ranch or the vodka sauce pizza. There was one time that the center of the pizza wasn't quite cooked enough, but that was one time out of dozens we've been there. We have gone back many times since then and haven't had a problem. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and they have live music on the weekends.

Worst service dining in ever.. and this is our 3rd time and each time it’s worse. Shame on us! Here with 2 toddlers… waiting an hour for a mozz pizza . Lost ticket to our pie and waitress never came back to explain or take additional drink order… NEVER coming back.

If you like New Haven style thin crust pizza, then this is the place to go. Compared to a lot of Italian restaurants that I’ve visited, this place makes the best penne alla vodka around. Diners portions are very generous. Great entertainment on weekends. Nice place to eat, kick back and enjoy!

Gem of Washington ave! The owners really gave the location the restaurant it deserved. The place is clean, well managed, and has a good classic bar restaurant atmosphere. The tap menu isn’t anything special but they have the right local beers on tap. The menu is good and thin crust pizza come pretty close to New Haven’s best. The bar snack of fried spaghetti is a fun snack to munch on at the bar

The garlic knots made me faint with joy. I love them. Good wings for the North too

Maybe we didn't order the right pizza too much toppings because they were both soft. Eggplant rollatini was very good!
