Charleston boasts a plethora of delightful eateries, but this one truly shines with its exquisite food and amiable staff. The dishes are freshly prepared and perfectly balanced. With an extensive menu and an impressive beer selection, their bar doesn't limit you to just beers and wines. The seafood at Fleet Landing is simply unparalleled. A tip for first-timers: be mindful of their generous servings. If Charleston were my home, this spot would undoubtedly be my frequent go-to.
This place is a gem! We were so glad that we could get a table reservation by adding our name and waiting for the table at the terrace. My husband and I shared a couple of appetizers and the fried flounder as a main dish. Our favourite appetizer was fried green tomatoes and then the calamari very thick and juicy! We also had hush puppies and they were also very good. We finished with pecan pie. Everything was so beyond our expectations! Hats off to the chefs and the service! Parking: We paid $5 to the parking next to restaurant by confirming that we came for the Fleet Landing.
My husband and I ate here when we visited Charleston. The food and service here were excellent! My husband ordered the mussels and said they were the best he had ever had. He said he didn’t know mussels could be that tender. And the yellowfin tuna and Atlantic salmon were perfect. Also, our waitress was so good. Very friendly, very helpful. Always checking on us and refilling our water. The atmosphere was also very nice, and was a very nice date place. Top notch food and service. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Charleston.
We went to Fleet Landing late and appreciated the amazing food and service. Robert was our server and he was absolutely amazing, he was handling what seemed like a dozen tables but was always there and seemed to really care about our food and experience. My wife had the steak, she said it was one of the best she ever had, I had the blackened shrimp with a side of grits which were the best. Can't wait to go again Parking: A ton of construction in the area so parking can be a little tight but therebis always somewhere to park and walk a little
We came here for a quick lunch while visiting Charleston and we were greeted by friendly faces. We sat by the bar and ordered their Fried Flounder. It was delicious with just enough peach flavored creamy sauce. Collards greens and rice were perfect to go with the dish. This is a big platter and Perfect for sharing. Awesome location and great service. Thank you.
Very popular, waterfront restaurant. We were craving some whole, fried flounder and decided to give this place a try for lunch on our way out of town. The restaurant opens at 11 and already had a sizable line when we arrived. As they were just opening, the line moved quickly and we were seated inside with a nice view of the moored cruise ship adjacent to the restaurant. At the suggestion of the waitress we tried the Stuffed Hush Puppies. They were amazing and I would rate them at a 5 by themselves. We had intended to have the Crispy Whole Fried Southern Flounder, but unfortunately they were out of whole flounder when we visited. Instead, we had a Fried Seafood Platter with Flounder and Shrimp. The breading used was light and everything was delicious. They do not have traditional tartar sauce, but the accompanying remoulade was very good. The vegetable special was Butter Beans. They were a nice surprise - probably the best I’ve had dining out and I wish I could make mine at home that good! Even though we were disappointed they were out of the whole flounder, the food and service was excellent and we look forward to eating here again. Parking: Surface Lot parking is adjacent to the restaurant and costs $5.
Always a great experience! This is a required stop for me whenever I visit Charleston. The food and service is always amazing at Fleet Landing! Today we had brunch with the fried Calamari for an appetizer. Best Calamari ever!! So thick and tender, and so delicious. For our entrees, two of us had the quiche brunch special, and the other had the shrimp and grits. Everything was very delicious! Highly recommended!
This place was fabulous! Atmosphere was great BUT service needs some work. Maybe I’m more critical because I’ve been a server; however, I expect certain things. Follow through is top of the list! Oysters were amazing and my scallops as well. Server never checked on us and every time we needed something I had to flag him down. Bar wasn’t busy but took a long time for a glass of wine. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.
Dropped by to get a bite to eat. And it was delicious. The waitress was the best. Gave us the inside scoop on all the great food and sauces they make in house. The appetizer was scrumptious. Can't complain at all. Had a great view of the water. Watching all the sail boats floating around. It's was beautiful . Had some coconut butterfly shrimps with fries. It's a great place to kick back and enjoy some delicious food and drinks. With a side of a wonderful view of the water . Definitely recommend .
This place is amazing! My cousin got the fried green tomatoes and they had this crab dip in between that was divine!!! The fried flounder was also good even though I didn't care for the tartar sauce. I always get the bread pudding as it is the best I have ever had but I tried my cousin's Hugenot tort and it is unbelievable! Next time I would get it, but get the ice cream on the side as it turns into soup at some point.
