Dan helped us pick out two beautifully refinished nightstands and did an incredible job reupholstering our victorian couch from the 1800s.  All of their furniture is of the highest quality and at a reasonable price, which is a refreshing change from the all the cheaply made furniture out there.  I can't say enough good things about Dan and his team and look forward to picking out unique pieces from them for many years to come!

So glad we stopped in. The owner was so awesome. He took the time to talk to both my husband and I about the history of several pieces of furniture. He shared his knowledge with us about different techniques on refinishing furniture and selling furniture. His work is absolutely beautiful.

This is the Barn associated with Blackstone Furniture Restorers, so their collection is more focused on furniture restoration rather than showroom. Their ‘barn’ is a treasure trove of different period pieces, so you really don’t know what you’ll bump into. They have a beautiful selection of different period pieces; price range is $$$.

Dan and the team did an incredible restoration of a rickety old cherry bench -  took note of the way I wanted to keep things looking old, but brought new life and luster and stability to the whole piece. Incredible work.

Dan and his team restored a cabinet for me and my family. This cabinet was destroyed in a fire. You can’t even tell what it’s been there. It looks new. These guys are incredible. Great people all around.

Consistently fantastic.  We have been a customer for over 15 years both purchasing from Dan directly as well as bringing items to him for excellent refinishing.  His prices are very reasonable and the work is unparalleled.

Reupholstered and repaired 8 dining room chairs - excellent work, clear price quoted, work was done on our schedule.   Nice antiques there too.

If you are looking to purchase some beautiful antiques this is the only place in Boston worth going to. They have a variety of many different pieces from all different time periods. My husband and I won't shop anywhere else. Our house is always getting compliments on the furniture. We especially love our table and chairs. Thank you guys for the great customer service and making our home complete with such outstanding one of a kind furniture!

I was recommended to Blackstone Furniture Restorers by a reputable New York antiques dealer for the repair of my valuable period Louis XIV center table. The owner, Dan McAuliffe, is extremely knowledgable and skilled. I couldn't be more pleased with both the work on my table and the service provided.

We stopped by on a Wednesday at 10:45 am. Online and the sign out front said it was open. The door was locked, and no one answered the phone. We left.
