The boot camp classes are amazing!! Sam, the trainer for the classes I go to, is absolutely fantastic!!! He keeps you going, makes sure you are doing things properly and is always friendly. Since Evolve took over The Barn, it has been great. Matt and Mitch are wonderful to chat with. The changes have been great so far. I can't wait to see what is next!!
Ever have a crew of people that made you feel like family? This is it! The workouts are consistently challenging and the trainers really care and mind your form constantly! They set you up to succeed and with the addition of the virtual classes to your membership no reason not to get a workout in when you are away! An amazing addition to the Enfield/Elmsdale area :
I am loving the fact that the classes are always different ! Sam is so great, he is very motivating and he is learning when to push us harder. I love how the finishers add an extra bonus that we all participate in. Maybe a guided stretch at the end would be good! I am looking forward to how the new equipment will be incorporated!
I’m fairly new to this gym and already find it very welcoming, friendly, versatile, and clean. The classes are fun and it’s a great set-up to work out on your own as well.
Highly recommend Evolve Fitness Elmsdale if you enjoy group training. Great community and very effective workouts.
No climate control and the large room is always full of stuff to where it cannot be used. I was mislead into believing that area would be free to use whenever classes were not taking place. The owner is incredibly rude. My membership here was a complete waste of time and money and I am having difficulty coordinating with them to have my membership cancelled.
The barn is extremely clean with lots of selections for gym equipment and weights. Friendly staff and shower facilities make this a welcoming place . The open gym area is fantastic for various types of training.
The Barn is my go to place for a work out before and/or after work. I commute to and Halifax from daily and having the opportunity to join a class before I work or on my way home is great! Welcoming atmosphere and pleasant staff add to the appeal.
Great local gym. Lots of good classes with a real community feel.
I had a great workout and the staff is awesome!
