Haven’t been on a gambling casino cruise since the 80s. We found Big M while eating breakfast and looking through a local newspaper booklet at the restaurant. It advertised a $20/pp cruise and $10 in free play for first time cruisers with Big M. The reviews were pretty decent . If anything , we’d get a inexpensive date night out of it. Turned out being a really fun time , the cruise out in the waterway to the ocean was beautiful and peaceful. No sunset because the weather was horrible but I bet it’s beautiful, we were surprised that the boat was in fantastic condition and clean. The bartenders Chelsea and Tim were very friendly and poured great tasting drinks . I saw reviews about free non alcoholic drinks, but didn’t know if that is true , We only wound up a little in the hole gambling as I should have just stopped when I won a few hundred here and there. We got our $10 free play but let me tell you some of the people around us were winning like crazy at the slots. You could hear all the bells going off, one lady behind us got her picture taken several times with checks of 1k + several times . So it’s a good ship for winning . I think much more than regular cruise ships. A lot of regulars on the ship . Everyone is so friendly we came in contact with , guests included. Definitely would go in this gambling cruise again . A great add on to our vacation and looking for things to do. And the best part winnings are tax free.
Great experience for the money. Make sure u take Motrin sickness pills if you have that issue! The ride was smooth and enjoyable. The food was good not great but for $10 you shouldn't expect much. The crew was helpful and kind. We didn't win any money but I heard through the announcements at least 6 people win on slots and I saw a few people making a killing on blackjack. All around a good time and I'd recommend to anyone just for the ride alone..
Excellent casino cruise experience. Friendly knowledgeable captain & staff, good food, alcohol & non alcohol drinks. Sanitized area often & masks required for everyone. Not crowded. Plenty of seating inside & outside. Fun for all ages, gambling or not : :
Had a wonderful get away from the usual. Took the 11:00 am to 4:00 pm cruise out of Little River SC. Arrived an hour early with plenty of parking available. Only a 150 yard walk to the pier. Excellent Boar Head brand sandwiches available to purchase. Free coffee station. Gambling starts about 45 minutes after getting underway. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
I loved everything about the cruise except the food..The bartender Joseph was friendly and informative for the 1st timers like us. The day cruise was $15 with a coupon I picked up at the airport. Plus you can get a $10 play voucher off of their website. I won $40 bucks on the 25 cent machine. You would have thought I won $4,000. Lol My husband and I had a blast. He got a little sea sick towards the end. But overall it was a great experience.
First time here. It was awesome!! Didn't win though. I love the upper deck it was very relaxing and the cocktails were good. Food not so much! Wrap and subs. No thanks. I didn't like it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely do again.
Loved the big M! The staff really made the Big M a great experience. From the ticket ladies to the servers and bar tenders to the slot attendants, they were fantastic. The casino is very clean and well organized. There is a good selection of games. The food isn't great, but it's fairly priced at $10 for a sandwich and chips. I highly recommend the Big M and can't wait to come back!
We had a great day.. had a 5 hour cruise longer than the SS Minnow and we came.back to the dock.. We gambled some, didn't walk away with money but a lady we talked to hit a big pay off.. good for her..
The experience was nice. The ride got a little bumpy at times. They offer some bennies for veterans that are outstanding. It was a good gambling experience'.
Excellent cruise with a variety of games, fun staff, and a clean environment. I would definitely recommend, it checks all the boxes for fun.
