Great Wedding Venue! Pike's Peak Back Drop, you feel like you're in the forest here! The venue *is* smaller so I would recommend small/intimate weddings!Location: 5/5
Everything about my stay here was amazing!! James was very welcoming and even helped get my family's car unstuck from the snow haha. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! We got the largest one, and it fit 8 people easily. There was everything and more that you'd need for a stay, which made it super easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. I can't express how much me and my family loved staying here, it was the perfect place to vacation, with the sweetest hosts!
We stayed in one of the cabins while we were in town for our son’s wedding. The cabin was the perfect size. While only my husband and I slept there, we were providing food for the rehearsal dinner. The kitchen was a great size with counter space, full size fridge and stove. It was so easy to work in the kitchen. During the prep the power company NOT the lodge caused a power issue at the lodge. The owner responded and showed up on site right away to identify if the issue was the lodge or not. He informed us right away that it was a power company issue and when to expect it to come back on about 20 minutes. The decor is cute and rustic and we enjoyed the wooded setting. We will stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
At Black Forest Lodge you're not a customer, you're family. Great location if you're doing something small/med. My wedding was 60 guests; the hall held the 60 guests with room for a band, food & small dance space. They have pretty much everything you could want from tables, chairs, decorations, plate wear, etc. The outside scenery was amazing, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better location with reasonable pricing & outstanding customer service.
We had our wedding here! The venue was lovely and rustic. The views are amazing and the cabins were fantastic! The owners were very accommodating and it was the best value I found for a venue that included renting the whole property and allowed us to byob, choose our own vendors and had all the tables, chairs, table settings, etc available to us!
Wow! We stayed here for a long weekend to explore Colorado Springs. The people who run the property couldn't have been nicer! We stayed in the Bonanza cabin. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. My husband and I decided to take a walk through the property; we saw mule deer and rabbits and explored the area. Could not have been more pleased with this stay!!! 10000/10 recommend staying here.
Very clean cabins, updated and modern interiors, well stocked with things you'll need for your stay such as soap, shampoo, kitchen equipment, fridge, stove, etc... Beautiful views. Parking. Also outdoor area to relax. Function room you can use for anyone visiting you while you are staying in the cabins.
We stayed in the Cascade Cabin and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and it was very clean. The staff were beyond kind and very helpful. This cabin is pretty close to the road yet feels very secluded. It was cold when we stayed and the heat was more than sufficient. You can walk/drive to the back of the property and there is an amazing view of Pikes Peak.
Our cabin was awesome! We loved staying here. It had everything we needed, was clean, was nice and comfy and homey. Owners/employees were nice. Outside had a really nice view, including pikes peak. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Authentic cabins that don’t come at the cost of cleanliness! Clean, tidy, cozy, cabin-y. The owners/managers are nice people who are great to work with, as well. And the experience is fabulously priced for the amount of space and the atmosphere you get!Rooms: 5/5
