This place is really clean and the staff is awesome. Donate blood and help save lives. I've donated 5 times in my lifetime and will keep donating. Also I got 3 $10gift cards.
I am a nervous blood donor. I don't like needles but despite that I always have an easy and comfortable experience as comfortable as you can be with a needle in your arm. The center is conveniently located and there is usually a mobile site in or near my neighborhood. The entire process takes me about thirty minutes. I think I broke a record today and filled my bag in six minutes. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The blood connection is my go to donation organization. The rewards program is very generous too. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience!! The facility is SO nice, clean, and organized. The staff I can’t speak highly enough about. Everyone is beyond kind and helpful. It’s a staff environment anyone would want to be apart of. If you’ve ever thought about donating here, this is your sign to go. Excellent experience. Will be back!
Horrible. It's a SCAM. They will lie to you and say anything to get your blood. I'm a homeless single mom with disabilities and 3 kids that were there with me and this was my 1st time ever donating for the sole purpose of providing a room for my children which I told them before filling out paperwork. They assured me that within 24hrs I would be able to transfer money off the app and provide a room. There is no way at all to transfer any money or get any money for a room for my kid's! They got my blood based on them lying! I will never give blood again and I can't believe this place is open the way they take advantage of people!
My husband and I drove an hour and a half to donate. We don’t have a location near us. I truly believe in donating as it has saved lives of people I love. This was the WORST experience I have had in my 13+ years of giving. The parking lot was closed and there were no signs indicating where to park. We had to enter through the “employees only” door to get into the building. But only found that out after walking around the building twice and the front main door being locked. Even having answered the questions early, the process to give blood still took over a half an hour to get set up. Not a single person greeted us. Not a single person thanked us for giving. We will not be back to this location! And I’m thankful I have other experiences to lean on or I would no longer be a donor.
They got my blood then took five days to pay me after I had to call them and then I go out to eat and use the gift cards to see my account information is not working like its deleted. Definitely not good business practice.
Great Customer Service. Always friendly and helpful. Clean environment and tv's for entertainment while you donate.
I waited in my car with the door open and finally asked when it would be my turn...the woman signing people in said she yelled at me earlier when it was my turn. I was upset since I saw her get out of her chair earlier and tell a woman it was her turn. She couldn't even tell me when she yelled at me. I see that certain donors are treated differently than others.
I've given blood with the red cross and stopped years ago because they were terrible for bugging me non stop and they sell your info to other charities. I found TBC and stopped by a drive. It was very clean and orderly, so I donated and then went for my next donation at their facility. It's really nice inside and the staff is great. Everyone there was kind and informative. I will definitely be going back regularly. I love the points rewards program and the fact that the blood stays local
I had a great experience at the TBC Center in North Charleston recently. Tamara was great and walked me through the whole process thoroughly. She was informative, personable, friendly, and efficient. I was in and out in under an hour and the center was very clean and everyone was so professional!
