Nice place. For the price I think that it is reasonable. The valet trash service is nice. There are phase 1 and phase 2 units. I’m in phase 2. They have granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, nice light fixtures. Overall I like it. Update 10/11/2023: So my husband and I moved out of our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment upgraded once we got married just over a year ago now. I have been hesitant to update my review, as we have been trying to get our deposit back. Well over a year now and that still has never happened. The maintenance sucks nice guys, just don’t do great work. The buildings are not up to code that is the construction companies fault and even the walls don’t have evenly place studs… maintenance even said they built the place terribly. The property manager was terrible to us, as the place we moved into had stains everywhere, chipped counters, chipped tile floors, leaks, broken appliances, and the list goes on. We had about 75% of things fixed and stayed for about a year. We did the walk through and everything passed the inspection. Yet once it was time to give our deposit back, they decided to charge us for things that were not talked about during the walk through. I found it very convenient that the amount they charged was the exact same as our deposit. We could never get the property manager to resolve anything in the apartment or even around the deposit. We even found holes in the FLOOR! Yeah, not sure how that happens, but it was in the corner of the master bedroom. But yes, the place is nice at face value, but you can ask any tenant there, maintenance and management are awful. The leasing agents were typically very helpful and understanding. But they were restricted to what the manager wanted. I would give them 2 stars if they’re prices weren’t so high now. They used to be very reasonable.
With all respect this is one of the worst places I have lived in. On the 3rd month moving in we had a really bad leak on our ceiling. They supposedly fixed it by leaving air fans around the apartment for a whole week to dry the carpet and dry the walls lol. On the 9th month we had mice and the manager said it was mice season that it was ok she had mice in her house. They sent pest control 2 times to fix it but all they did is leave mice traps all around the apartment. Knowing that we had 2 little toddlers, we had to try to keep them from touching the traps, it was a mess. Btw they never fixed it . On the end of the month we had mold building up from the ceiling across the bathroom to the kitchen and down the wall of our master bedroom and all in the closet. Closet floor was a puddle of water. We had to called the health department because seem like management didn't really care for this. Trying to bring in there air fans again smh. Health department sent them a letter no one could live here till they fix it the proper way. We tried to come to an agreement with the manager to move us to another apartment she said no. So we had to break our lease and move out. We have friends that still live there and they are having the same mold problems in different buildings. I really don't recommend this place. They should really fix this mold problem the proper way and mice problem. I have pictures if anyone would like to see this disgusting place.
I advise you not to live here. If there is a negative star review I would have chosen it. The worst experience with the leasing office. Not professional. They actually caused harm to me and affected my credit by falsely sending my account to collection!! The staff in the leasing office would not answer on time and they say they do not have the number for higher management when asked! Sarah, the person answering the phone said she didn't have the manager's number and would not connect me after they told me the wrong information and sent my information to collection. Also the packages are stolen, we lost several package because they are stolen from Infront of our apartment door. And that's a problem with all tenants. Our neighbors had a mechanic shop they fix cars under our balcony and bedroom and we had time relaxing because of the noise!!
I'm a new resident 1 week in I had an issue in bathroom that needed attention. Maintenance took care of if super fast. Communication with Lucy in the office helped expedite the service request. Very much appreciate the staff here!
I had a light assembly that coincides with the fan that quit working so I had Mikey replace it and all is good. Thanks Mikey for your hard work and dedication and resolving the maintenance issue.
I've lived at the Blvd for a year and a half. From the apartments I've seen, the Blvd is by far the best bang for your buck in the Whitestown area. I love my apartment especially the open floorplan and tons of cabinet space in the kitchen. I have minor complaints such as my screen door to the balcony being horrible quality that will not stay on the track regardless of maintenance coming to fix it. I also don't like that the flooring in the kitchen isn't properly adhered to the ground so the pieces come loose and the granite counters have tiny craters in them. So if you're a perfectionist who would find the little details bothersome, it might not meet your standards. Regardless of those small things, the maintenance team is spectacular. My AC stopped working over the weekend and I had to call the maintenance hotline and leave a message. He called me back within minutes and was at my door probably fifteen minutes later. He immediately knew what the issue was and fixed it. On top of that, he went to grab coolant and came back very quickly to ensure that the apartment was cooling down at the rate he expected. Another time I had a maintenance issue I was also extremely impressed with the service. My refrigerator was leaking some water onto the top shelf. Maintenance came and did something to the settings which didn't resolve the issue so I entered another service request. I was shocked when I got home from work and saw that they had completely swapped out my refrigerator for a different one and even put all my food back in it very closely to how I'd had it arranged. Long review short: the Blvd is a good place to live with a high quality maintenance team and good prices for spacious apartments.
My husband and I lived here for barely a year. The apartments are new and in a nice area which is great, but the management was awful. Parking is HORRIBLE. There are not enough spots for the amount of people that live there! When we were moving out, the business was getting completely new staff. The old staff put down that we had to get new carpet so we weren’t going to get our deposit back. When we had moved in they had just put in new carpets and when we moved out we deep cleaned so we would get our deposit back! Instead they were telling us they were keeping our deposit and we would have to pay a couple hundred dollars since they replaced the carpet. I called and talked to the new management and they couldn’t tell me why the carpet was replaced and had no pictures so they were going to give us back our deposit. But it was too late, they had sent our account to a debt collector! I’ve talked MULTIPLE times to the office staff about contacting them to get our account out of debt but they have not! They have told me they believe there was a mix up when the old staff left and the new staff took over but they are still not fixing what has been done! It’s been almost 6months and it’s now affecting our credit!!! STAY AWAY.
I put in a work order right after I moved in and it was remedied immediately. I put in another order for a different issue yesterday around lunch and it was fixed within a couple hours. So far the maintenance staff has been awesome and friendly.
I have been searching for an apartment for the last couple of weeks. Even though I didn't have an appointment, when I walked into the Blvd I was greeted right away. All my questions were answered while on the tour and she really made me feel welcome. I didn't realize, the manager Morgan was the one showing me around. The pricing was awesome and the apartment I was shown was perfect for me. Even though I did not lease right away, Morgan called me the next day and I ended up applying online. I can't wait to move in!
I lived here for almost 2.5 years, my husband about 6. They are very efficient, especially in regards to maintenance. When we left they were very fair to us about breaking contract. I did not have many issues with the company itself. That being said, parking was a nightmare. I lived at the very end of Schooler Drive. They tried multiple things to fix the situation but nothing ever worked, there just weren't enough parking spaces for the people in the 2 buildings that shared that lot. Even when we got stickers and a number to call for towing, no car was ever towed for parking there without a sticker. No one wants to park up to 10 minutes away from their apartment in the winter. Garages were limited and on the more expensive side compared to the 2 places I'd lived before. That's really what detracted from my experience there, as it affected me the entire time I lived there, regardless of the attempted solutions.
