The BSS offers it's membership a quarterly full color magazine, hosts an upland National field championship and a retriever National Championship every year the BSS also offers sanctioned BSS Upland Hunt Tests through out the US by various Boykin Spaniel Clubs. The Boykin Spaniel Society prides itself in being the official and original registry of the Boykin Spaniel.
The Boykin Spaniel Societies mission is to maintain records of all Boykin Spaniels registered. These records shall be known as the Boykin Spaniel Registry. The BSS will also urge members and breeders to use the breed standard in the selection and breeding of the Boykin Spaniel. We shall encourage and promote the breeding of purebred Boykin Spaniels and to do all possible to perpetuate their natural hunting ability. The BSS will also do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition.The Boykin Spaniel Society was founded as the premier gun dog registry. We are passionately dedicated to preserving, promoting, and protecting the Boykin Spaniel as a healthy sporting dog and family companion.
