Our experience was amazing once Emily Becker took over planning. I wasn't happy about the 20% vendor costs but not dealing with vendors made life easier. Emily was a beast at making sure we were satisfied. No matter what we asked for she made it happen with a smile on her face. Our wedding was held on the main floor. There were no complaints about the tent, view, space, or setup. Emily was hands on with my decor team and followed all instructions to make sure everything was to perfection. Our final food selections were better than the tasting and all our guests stated the food was great. Even our vegan guest applauded their meal. Food was great due to us making changes to what was paired with the proteins meat because the original pairings were not satisfactory. We didn't have any issues with parking, luckily. The event/catering staff were awesome and very polite! When we gave them praises they immediately let us know how smooth and easy our wedding was. Besides us being laid-back people, it wouldn't have been as smooth if Emily didn't make sure we had everything we wanted. Oh, and the security guard was amazing. We took pictures on the bridge and he made sure that there was no interference. Honestly, we spent a nice amount to have our wedding here but it was worth it and we did have the freedom to save money in a lot of areas. I'll be planning my 40th at the Bridge Building only if Emily is lead!
Building was beautiful, staff was nice except for the chef. Saw and over heard head chef at bridge building being very rude to the server staff for no reason. He didn’t seem to enjoy his job and his mood is toxic. Once he is gone the place will be a dream!
Love this building! I highly recommend walking the pedestrian bridge at sunset and looking back to the city west just at dusk. It is a great way to experience the city.
The 3+floors of space itself are perfect for small to medium sized events, weddings, etc. and the people who work hard to put on events are great. However, from an event services perspective it's tough to load in and out as there's no specific load-in zone and crossing RR tracks with casters on a cart can be tricky. There is only one elevator which also teaches you more patience than you thought you already had.
Horrible place for a wedding...no air conditioning. Had half the wedding party in a closed tent on the side of the building in the sun with no AC. That is called a greenhouse. Also not happy parking under the overpass in the dark in a sketchy area. Watched the wait staff eating the guest food on the back steps. not classy...
Beautiful venue but very frustrating team to work with and horrible communication. I would not recommend this venue unless your budget is at least $35k -I spent $35k and made my decorations myself and booked the cheapest vendors I could find due to all of the unforeseen costs of the venue. The "free" planning services are not actually free as they will add at least 20% to everything they are involved with. The catering service was very slow and food wasn't as good as at the tasting. Overall, the Bridge Building was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.
I had my wedding reception here—it was an amazing venue! They provided event staff/coordinators who were absolutely necessary for the execution of my reception. Unlike my “wedding planner” Bruce Pittman, the event coordinators at the Bridge Building were responsive, organized and effective in their execution. Big thanks to them!
A place with a view.... I remember when I can to this spot and it was an abandoned building because it offer a great view of the city. The city is just a beautiful now, as it was then....
The Bridge Building is one of the best places downtown for an event. We chose to have our wedding here after looking at a few places in downtown Nashville. The views from anywhere in this building of downtown are amazing! There is also a private entrance to the pedestrian bridge! The staff is very courteous from beginning to end. They communicate well, and are very responsive to your needs. The day of our wedding everything went so smoothly, Megan Sauder and her crew were the best event coordinators hands down. They did everything to make sure our wedding and reception was perfect including re-steaming my wedding dress. The food was great through Infinity Events & Catering! And I would totally recommended them for all of your event needs and rentals. They are pricey buts it’s worth every single penny! You get what you pay for! Signed a happy wife!
The Bridge Building is the ultimate wedding venue if you want to be in the city with the best skyline views! Not only is it a gorgeous venue, the staff and wedding coordinators went above and beyond for us while planning our wedding especially during Covid. Kalyn and Cori were amazing to work with and kept everything running smoothly and on track from the planning process to the day of our wedding. They worked with my budget and truly cared about my vision and how I wanted the day to go. I wish I could relive it because it was so smooth and perfect!!! I would definitely recommend this venue as they made planning less stressful and took care of so much!
