I was born and raised in France. When I came to the US over 15 years ago, I discovered that I could not find my french brioches here in America. As a result, I had my family shipped these brioches from overseas. On occasion, I would send my husband on a "retrieve and rescue" mission to France to secure these brioches for me. He would literally fly to France to pick up brioches. Unfortunately, he would get held up at the Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris holding two luggages filled with brioches. This didn't go over well with the TSA agents at the airport and that was a little embarrassing. Fortunately, I enjoy baking while my husband enjoys eating and that worked out so much better. So I started baking my own french brioches like the ones from my town in France. From my oven to your table, I know you will enjoy my french brioches as much as I enjoy baking them. Bon Appetit!
