The Brooklyn House Restaurant

One of the most delightful dining experiences I've ever had. The service was phenominal, food was beyond excellent, and the presentation was wonderful. This little place has become a great favorite of mine. For those with diet restrictions, including gluten sensitivity, this place is a must visit. For those without diet restrictions --you'll never know that things are gluten free. It's great food that just happens to be gluten free. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate this place.

This restaurant will always have a special place in my heart. They go out of their way to make sure they get you what you need. They remember your favorite wine, your food restrictions/allergies, and they always have such a great attitude towards everything. It is such a cute, cozy and homey ambiance, it's always like a big family gathering when we go there. On top of all that, the food never fails! Delicious to the last bite! I'm not a big salad fan, but their salads are just as good as their entrees!

Amazing food, atmosphere, and staff! The menu options are flexible and catered towards any and all food sensitivities or allergies. I loved that the gluten-free options were not potato-based! Thank you so much for having such an amazing place to eat!

Organic farm-to-table bliss. Everything we ate was superb, from salad to mains and incredible desserts. The server was knowledgeable & kind. Alpaca Bolognese gfwas unusual and delicious, as was lamb ragout. We especially loved baked kale salad and Caesar. Craft gin truly crafty. Lime cheesecake with raspberry topping not to be missed.

This is an amazing place! Totally a hidden gem with excellent customer service and fresh ingredients, the Brooklyn House is the place you need to go if you are in Portland, they treat you like family and the food is fantastic. I couldn't believe the whole menu was gluten free!

I can't say enough good things about Brooklyn House. I have gone there for years because I have been gluten intolerant. I loved their gluten free pasta dishes, their creative side dishes and salads, and their gluten free desserts. Recently I discovered that I now have to follow a much stricter diet, the SIBO diet. I was told by my physician that Brooklyn House could handle it. I went there last weekend with two friends. We had a fabulous meal. The staff understood exactly what I could and could not eat. They modified their Tri Tip steak dish. They substituted fennel for mushrooms and added the best roasted carrots I have ever eaten. The dish was delicious, way beyond anything I expected. My two companions loved their meals as well. They both had pasta dishes and were raving about them for sometime after the meal. If you have any dietary restrictions, or you just want a truly wonderful meal, please go to Brooklyn House. I was also impressed with the staff's commitment to using local, fresh and organic food. You can eat at Brooklyn House and feel good about what you are eating.

The food was great!!! My Girlfriend and I both have diet restrictions. We could not ask for better comfort food while managing diet restrictions. The waitress/owner was well versed in many diets including "SIBO", "Low FodMaps", "Gaps", "Gluten Free" - we both felt safe and enjoyed an amazing meal that gracefully met our diet restrictions. We had the Rabbit - yummm!!! We had the roasted Brussels Sprouts - YUMMM!!!, We had the gluten free Beard Pudding, with real whipped cream- WOW!!! We are going back!!!

Excellent dining experience! Absolutely incredible food, warm and inviting atmosphere. Fresh farm-to-table ingredients shine like superstars. Also, try one of her handcrafted beverage recipes. I almost couldn't leave!

New favorite Portland restaurant! I'm kind of a food snob, but I'm also "frugal". I used to be an organic farmer, so I appreciate food grown with dedication, mindfulness, and locality. Well - not only was Brooklyn House extremely affordable, but the quality and taste of the ingredients were amazinggggg. Even the custom drink made for me was made with locally produced caramel with local cheese infused from a nearby goat! Whaaaaat?!? But it's not at all pretentious - casual and all done out of good fun. Great place for a date, families, or groups. Will be back many many times. XOXO

Every time has been a 5 star experience. Awesome food. Wonderful and totally devoted staff. Magical drinks. Brooklyn house wins all the points. Go there.. Win the points too... Be awesome like me and together... We can rule the Galaxy!
