Cannot recommend enough! Very helpful staff, fair prices, good selection from different brands. They helped me find my first pair of cowboy boots that I love. You’ll feel welcome and that your business is appreciated there- and there’s no pressure either, which makes the experience being there so much better
Staff was super friendly and helpful! I would come back just for the great service alone. They also have a great selection of boots. I wear a 6C and that is sometimes hard to find without ordering. Great place for western wear.
Great service purchasing boots with my 2 sons. Made sure they fit properly and offered to order boots that were not in stock in their size. We will definitely be back when they outgrow them.
I couldn't be happier with my experience at The Bull Chute. The staff members were friendly and helpful; nearby to help but not hovering over you. They had a fantastic selection and I was able to find the boot I loved at a really competitive price less than some of the large online companies. Such a great business for the Triangle - easy to see why then been around for over 30 years.
After ordering lower-cut boots from an on-line Western store, and having them be cancelled due to not being in-stock on the day I expected them...and being 100% angry, I looked up local places and discovered The Bull Chute was only about 5 miles from where I work. Since I was heading to Houston, TX in two days, I was set on buying some lower-cut, comfortable boots to wear. The staff couldn't have been nicer. SO helpful. He said he was sorry they didn't have more of what I was looking for, but the thing is, what they had was perfect. Awesome looking, comfortable Ariats to go with my other 3 pair! I learned a lesson today...SHOP LOCAL. I will go there again...as long as the hubs doesn't find out I went today. :-
I'm sad to see this place closing its doors. I never really shopped there because most things were outside my price range but they had really nice things. Their going out of business sale was very nice. The owners were very helpful. I tried to purchase some jeans for my son but they didn't fit. Even though it was going out of business they refunded my purchase. That's excellent business practice!
Western Bull Chute is such a WONDERFUL place to do business. Their customer service is second to NONE! They have a great selection of the boots and they are extremely knowledgeable. I live in Durham, but the drive is worth it. I now own my first pair of cowboy boots!
My wife and I went because she was interested in getting some cowboy boots. She had looked at Zappos, but having never owned cowboy boots before, she had no idea what she would like, what would be comfortable and what would look good. We were thrilled to find there was a local store with a wide selection! We showed up after work for her to try a bunch on. It was definately the way to go, as opposed to online as some that looked good on the shelf, didn't look good on, or were uncomfortable. She found a pair of Ariat brand boots, which have a sneaker-like sole, so they are supposed to be comfortable for all day wear. They also stood out as the best looking while on. The best part is the price was the same as on Zappos! No waiting, no returns, no buying 5 pairs online and returning 4. Which is a horribly wasteful way to buy something! The college aged guy that was helping my wife was incredibly patient, even though she kept asking him to retrieve pair after pair. Yeah, that's his job, and it is some decent amount of money to lay out ~$170, but it is still refreshing when you don't get attitude and just get help! Small, local business is important, and this store is great exmaple of why we should all look for opportunities to support the good ones!
Just started working with a local farm in my down time and Pat could not have been more sincere and helpful in making sure i had everything i need to be comfortable and prepared. He made a lot of helpful suggestions while i was looking at a pair of work boots that fit right
They offer hat shaping service. For free. I get it. But why have the service if they cant even get to it. I even told the nice old man that works there to charge me cause i needed my hat that coming weekend. He made me feel that i was causing him more stress. So i left. Im not saying that im not goin back cause i am they have great inventory and competitive prices.
